I ended up killing Nerano my first play-through because my sneak wasn't high enough for that thieves' guild quest in Balmora. So I moved into Nerano manor. There are a ton of tables to display stuff on in there though, and some nice bookshelves too. So it actually worked out really well. Probably the best house for displaying things in vanilla Morrowind.

As far as getting around Vista's/Windows 7's UAC, running the installer as administrator should work. If you don't want to give the installer those priveleges, that's fine too, just take ownership of the Morrowind folder.

I'm not familiar with ePub or iPhone but someone there's a .pdf with all the books in it at the imperial library. It's got bookmarks for each text, perhaps that will work?

I don't know why they couldn't just have a progress bar for automatic mode, like a normal installer... there's really no reason to simulate moving the mouse. I mean yeah, laziness, and you don't want to add command-line functionality to MGE or whatever, but I'm pretty sure taking control of input devices is one of the 7 deadly sins of UI design.

Space-wise, the Morrowind game-world wasn't as big as Oblivion or Skyrim. It just seemed that way because (1) you walked painfully slow (2) the fog didn't let you see very far and (3) you had to walk along all these curved paths because of the mountains everywhere.

I recall seeing a picture a while back showing that Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim were all pretty much the same scale.

Do any errors pop up? Anything in Warnings.txt?

IIRC the mod uses SWG's Skies so if nothing else works you could try grabbing and installing just that plugin.

Dwemer Artificer mod for Morrowind by iiotahin Morrowind

I could see a ton of opportunities to build on existing conflicts with this mod.

The obvious starting point for me is this guy. Tie this mod into existing quests and expand on that Beauchamp character. Maybe give him a workshop in Ald'Ruhn, and rebuild the crashed airship. From there I can definitely see the drama play out between factions like you mentioned: Telvanni wants to use the ship, the Imperials and Hlaalu don't want Telvanni to touch it, the Temple and Redoran want to destroy it altogether. And poor Beauchamp is stuck in the middle. How it plays out depends on your membership in a Great House (and perhaps Beauchamp could have some crazy alternate plan involving that Amulet of Infectious Charm).

According to this blog entry the keys are for the new beta version of Garry's Mod. I'm assuming the idea is that people who currently own GM can upgrade to the next version for free now. But as someone who isn't familiar with the game, I'll agree that seeing "more keys available!" is really misleading.

Yeah. If ND wants to make a movie, they should just make a movie. I'd have no problem with it; I'm sure they could do some stellar stuff if they focused on cinematics.
