Teen secretly lived in AOL's HQ for 2 months, eating free food, using gym & showers, sleeping in conference rooms while working on his start-up. Everyone assumed he worked there by scientologist2in offbeat

That doesn't matter unless you're looking for computer related business.

For a lot of areas in American AOL was only internet provider and everybody had AOL.com address. that was 15+ years ago. Now nobody go out and get an AOL.com email address. So if you're in business (non Computer related, heating AC/ landscaping etc and have Aol.com as your email, you been around more more than 15 years.

Dealing with Zombie Debt collection... how should I proceed? by P_Fin personalfinance

[–]zdiggler -1 points0 points ago

Don't no pay them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After 3+ year of not paying on old delinquency there is nothing nobody who call you can help you clear it out.

You pay them collector, they will take you money and will Do Nothing.

After 10 years they will leave your credit report. unless its a student loan. If you start paying it might show up in there again.

Don't waste time writing them nothing. I wait until they call and I vent on them!!

I just got call from Repo that I had like 15 years ago. I don't know how the dig that shit up.

A lot of my customers still use it. They're rich and they like the finical feature on AOL. Plus if own a business and have aol.com for email, that means you're prestigious and been around for a while.

Broken collarbone rehab. by Curiosity93in MTB

[–]zdiggler 0 points1 point ago

They give you surgery on Broken Collar bones now? They gave me back pack straps to put on with some pain killers.

I didn't have insurance at the time so I didn't get the surgery option I guess. Even without surgery the bill stuff hurts!!

Rigid vs. Suspension fork. what do you guys ride, and where? by drewsephpwnsin MTB

[–]zdiggler 0 points1 point ago

Hard tail with 100mm with lock out. Even with 100mm of soft springs I have to stop time to time going down hill because my hands hurts.
With old fork i have to stop more often than new softer 100mm.

Nothing but rocks and roots here.

Only in America people refuse to go to hospital because they don't want a big bill a few week later.

My friend jump out of Ambulance because he was scared of getting a bill.

I was riding with no hands cruising around town it was getting dark and I hit a huge pothole and went over the bar. Just road gash on my elbow and knees, bleeding all over the place, the bike got bent front wheels but rideable with no brakes.

After that I can't ride hand free at all.

Be careful, roofrack owners! (check out the granny gear escape) by humbagerin MTB

[–]zdiggler 1 point2 points ago

That what I used to do when I used to live in the city. Before I walk into the store I remove the skewers of both wheels, disengage the V-brakes, change my gears so when they take off gears will be changing and hopefully the wheel will come off and hurt them self.

I've been thinking about getting into mountain biking for awhile now. What do I need to know? by primetimeslimetimein MTB

[–]zdiggler 1 point2 points ago

Get decent used one and see if you really like it. I have seen people with a lot of money will buy a insanely priced bike and rode it once and left down in basemnt for years with not spec of mud on it.
