I had CRT when I was that age.

Max out the resolution on 14" screen to 1600x1200 you can barely read anything on it. but a lot of desktop realestate.

Talk to Experts they're all over YouTubes, also FixYa have a lot of good tech on there, you pay small fee and they will give you pages form service manual to trouble shoot. If you find out what is wrong get parts from this place.

I have one customer who is very blind. He can see good in day light but can hardly read on monitor or see TV. I have to setup his monitor and TV bright. Something wrong with reflection in the eye or something. Only very expensive eye surgery will be able to fix him up.

Yeah, Motion sensor works very good. You can set the sensitivity so it doesn't trigger when leaves move etc. You can have a lot of motion based triggers, email, text message, save files, ftp. It will serve as webcam server with flash based video or motion jpeg. You can even do PTZ if you cam compitable.

Before you can get a copy for ~$35 or so, now the guy want more money.

Lenovo make sure you choose custom option. A lot of their base laptops means based. like no WebCam.
