PSA: if you are posting about how bad your server population is, you are discouraging people from playing: lowering the population. by ChunkyD233in swtor

It's a shame because I really enjoy this game. However, it's basically a single player game for me now as my fleet population is usually about 100 with planet populations of under 10. Ridiculous. They need to start closing the empty servers and transferring those characters to the medium population ones

My team is going to be relegated to third division. Just sharing my sadness. by Butteschaumontin soccer

Sad to hear. At least you will still exist and have those memories, whereas my team - Rangers - may not be so lucky.

Has anyone made lots of money on a working holiday in Australia? by Matthews_huhin travel

[–]zLightspeed 0 points1 point ago

I've spoken to a lot of people who have. I think if you're tempted to do pretty crappy, sporadic jobs working long hours then you can make a reasonable amount, such as farm work paying $20 an hour.

Don't stay in one place. I hear there are a lot of good jobs in Perth and the West Coast, as the vast majority of people are attracted to the east with Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane etc.

What to do about my mobile phone... (UK) by zLightspeedin travel

After spending the morning looking into it it's looking like I'm just going PAYG for a while. When you top up £10 a month with most providers you get 100 free texts or some data. I probably send about 100-150 texts a month so that's fine for me.

I'm not autistic but I'm in the process of producing something quite similar for my trip to China, Australia and the USA next year. Thanks for some inspiration.

I took a trip to Los Angeles last year so can help you out with that.

While I am generally against them, I took on open-top bus tour in Los Angeles with a company called StarLine, definitely the best way to see the city. There are 3 lines that inter connect - Santa Monica, Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. I believe you can get a 48 hour pass for $50 which is more than enough time to see everything. You can see most of the important stuff in Hollywood and the Sunset Strip in an Afternoon. The walk of fame is always worth a visit. You should definitely go out at night on the strip at least once, the night life is amazing.

Santa Monica is a quieter town outside of LA, it's quite a rich area and it's very picturesque. There's also some pretty good shops. The pier is nice, it's a bit of a tourist attraction because it's the end of Route 66. You can also walk to Venice Beach from there to see homeless people playing the saxophone and hundreds of medical marijuana card stores. Joking aside it's actually pretty cool and worth a visit.

Down-town LA was my favourite part. You should spend some time in Korea-town and China-town. There are some amazing buildings that will be pointed out to you in the tour if you choose to take it.

If you're interested in art, you should visit the Getty Museum. It's free. In fact even if you're not interested in art, it's worth it because the view is absolutely stunning.

Los Angeles is amazing, you will love it whatever you choose to do. It's the best place I've ever been.

It's hard. I recommend going with hostels instead.

I'm not sure about the finances. Other people have posted links to rail cards so I recommend going for that. If you want the cheapest option, try the Megabus. You can get from London to Glasgow for about £20 depending on when you book, the train might costs 10 times that.

I live in Scotland and while Glasgow is probably our best city, Edinburgh is perhaps more suited for tourists. Lots more historical stuff to see and it's a prettier city too.

Is 1.2 Too Little (or Too Much) Too Late? by breetai3in swtor

I have 6 characters and none of them are level 50. Alts are definitely the best way to stop yourself from getting bored, as playing a Jedi Consular and Bounty Hunter feels kinda like playing 2 different games
