the assembly plan (the budget proposal put forth by the dems, which proposes a 20% tax credit, is paid for by a small increase on the state income tax on those reporting more than a million dollars in taxable income) has the votes to pass in the assembly. it also would bring down the state debt.

neither the senate plan (10% property tax credit) nor the governors plan (a 10% income tax reduction) are paid for.

utter failure is hyperbole.

what we need is a few more votes in the senate and we have the governor AND some of his nefarious allies in the legislature right where we want them coming into election season.

if you want a balanced budget AND property tax relief, call you NJ state senator and demand they pass the assembly budget proposal.

and come election time, remember to vote against anyone who obstructs it.
