I know EXP you earn personally doesn't change no matter how many people you party with. Just that you kill things faster so you get faster exp in general.

Youre right about MF stuff, but I think the OP got his misconception from a different thing.

There's a drop bonus on a first boss kill in normal. So obviously, you get them wonderful loot the first time around. However, the OP thought it'd only get better from there, but nope blues for him.
