I'm on Ocean Blvd using Charter with 18MB down for $35/month. Sometimes it lags pretty slow during "the netflix hours" but otherwise it's a pretty good connection.

Verizon FiOS is slowly creeping through town and they offer 20MB of DEDICATED speed (all the time no matter what else the network is doing). The problem is to get a good price on the FiOS, you really need to bundle it with TV and phone and then sign up for a year contract. If you're interested, I'd give Verizon a call and see if your building has already been wired for it.

tl;dr Charter is pretty good and cheap for high speeds. Verizon FiOS would be best but is more expensive and you'll need to bundle it.

This is a great add. Tech savvy people are already inclined to buy items online. The only reason they feel the need to buy something in a brick and mortar is if

The product is grossly cheaper
They product is near the same price and the customer can find it easily and be "in and out"
They need the product ASAP and can't wait for it to ship

Any sway in either of these variables warrants paying more for something online or, like me, not even bothering with researching what Best Buy has and for how much money.

One of my favorite lines in the articles was:

"The 'shopping environment' is the opposite of fun and informative. It’s depressing and humiliating, as in 'I can’t believe I had to go to Best Buy to get this.'"

And really, that's how I feel. If I have to go to Best Buy it's almost always a last resort.

I was in the same boat as you in that I got a GoPro for xmas. I ended up buying a short broom stick, plumbing insulation foam, and bright orange duct tape. The total cost was $11. I also got the bicycle mount which made sticking it onto the stick easier.

I used it last week and lost hold of it twice but found it floating a couple feet from me.
