back in 07-08 i was working as a shift leader in blockbuster and i went on vacation a couple months after getting promoted to canada. the store was located in florida. my last night in canada i get a late night call from derp security about someone breaking into the store. ive been told multiple times this happens often because our security sensors are kinda shaky so i told them not to send police. big mistake on my part.

someone had broken in and stolen about 50 video games from the rental cart next to the window(i know how stupid it was but management liked it there). when i came back i got a list of the games stolen and went to 4 gamestops in my surrounding area. 2 out of the 4 had the exact games that were stolen and it was the same guy at both stores. i had his name, address, and proof he was there. i handed it to my store manager who congratulated me and then i never heard about it to this day. never did get the 2nd promotion i wanted but i guess some good deeds must go overlooked.

TL;DR someone broke into my blockbuster store and stole video games. i investigated and found proof leading to the culprit but nothing ever came from it.
