I'm amazed at the price you got it for. They tend to cost around 10 to 30k in Europe depending on which year you get. 10 being a modified version in terms of heavy mechanical service, interior and past mileage and the price rising the more original you get it. You actually managed to get a good deal. The mileage is slightly high but take care of the beaut ;).

To Christians: If miracles are meant as proof then why are they all unverifiable? by benYosefin DebateReligion

[–]xsami 0 points1 point ago

Miracles tend to be events that may not specifically have an explanation by the laws of nature and science in particular. Skepticism may also argue that science may easily verify or disagree the acts of miracles using a board forms of ideology, hypothetical theories and logical experimentation but the problem is, like the situation on paranormal activities, there may not be an even explanation for it yet.

Although I'm not personally a Christian, I somewhat relate miracles and the idea of chance and luck or karma as very closely related presuming it may happen once in a while or perhaps every earth day.

New Halo 4 Enemy Revealed? [Possible Spoilers] by CyReN_in halo

[–]xsami 1 point2 points ago

Halo 4, when developed and maintained by 343, which consists of passionate halo fans which have experienced the trilogy at large and are dedicated to creating one of the greatest games to come, with the help of ex-Bungie employees, can not be a disappointment. They know that if they mess it up, the Halo trilogy is ruined, the community disappointed and lower sales, all of which are not positive which causes an immense amount of pressure to get it to almost perfection. Trust me, it wouldn't suck.

Although it would be a great talent to have, it is quite dangerous if not done properly. He quite lucky to be able to do that, most people unfortunately couldn't due to muscle limitations or internal response to such a quantity of liquid in a small quantity of time. Nevertheless, lol.

It doesn't matter what any of us have to hide from the government

You mention how no government can do it's job without violating both dignity and rights but to be quite honest, it doesn't violate it in any way. People are dignified and free to make any choices regarding what they do as long as it's not illegal. Doing an illegal operation is against the law and Article 11 in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone is presumed innocent unless constituting a penal offence. Even then, a trail is required as it is your right to do so. The matter of invading your privacy rights on the other hand is not supported by human rights due to support from Article 12 stating the avoidance of unnecessary interference of privacy and honour. Although the majority of users are simply law-abiding citizens, there are a few who are breaking the law and what better way to catch people who are breaking the law than to simply check what they go on. If you're a casual tech-savvy individual and innocent, you wouldn't be called out but if you are going to break the laws placed to protect the common people from threats which are hazardous to them then why should you be able to operate and harm lives of others and not get prosecuted.

There was a purpose for SOPA and it was considerably negative which I strongly support being oppressive to it and supporting anti-SOPA however I am yet fond to find out why CISPA is bad. This slur of attacking online privacy seems irrational. People argue that it creates a personal profile for you and your activities, what you search and what account belongs to you but at the same time, what do you have to hide from the government? I already am aware that governments are sometimes malicious with documents about personal but this generally helps stop a 'threat', not censor you or stop you from reaching a website like SOPA. If you have something which may be considered inappropriate or not presentable if shown to a government official than the probability of the activities you are doing would be illegal is rather likely. All this aims to do is to protect you from threats which are deemed hazardous yet a common liberal will argue that it seems to be 'attacking' our freedom. It isn't Big Brother in any way.

I'll properly get down voted for this because I don't agree with half of reddit but oh well.

Anti-virus/spyware by schieftin Ubuntu

[–]xsami 6 points7 points ago*

Generally, Windows lacks what Linux in particular has and that's secure root access. Straight away, if a virus or malware can not easily get full control of the operating system, it would make the task rather difficult. There are also less vunrabilties than Windows and at the same time, Linux has <10% market share so it isn't a primitive target as the payload wouldn't be great.

This however means that it isn't fully immune. Rootkits, malware and black hat penetrating on Linux are around but very rare to come across due to the diversity of distribution Linux has and it's secure kernal. It is possible that you could have caught it but nevertheless, it is quite rare. Other possible reasons could have been poor passwords, lack of encryption or man in the middle attacks.

For a firewall, try ufw that is provided by Ubuntu, just type this in terminal:

sudo ufw enable

or you could download what I use Firestarter

For an antivirus scanner:

For rootkit scanners

I generally only have a firewall. If you want, try to use stronger passwords or encrypted https pages such as HTTPS Everywhere on Firefox/Chrome.

One of the coolest things I've ever seen by ShawnTheNonin anonymous

[–]xsami 12 points13 points ago

Courtesy to popular belief, Anonymous wasn't risen or created by 4chan, Reddit or SomethingAweful. It has always been there from the evolution of computer networking. It's just when some people label it as a 'meme' and the sudden media attention it gets which causes the controversy of where it came from. Then is subject to bias and certain sources which may not be reliable.

What is Tumblr? by margoslabyin AskReddit

[–]xsami 2 points3 points ago

A blogging platform dedicated for self-expression. Once signed up with your email and password, it will give you the option of naming your blog domain (location, in this case the URL). Upon completion, you have a domain and inside that domain, you have a blog. You choose how you want to decorate, style or express your blog. You can post various types of media (pictures to sound) or 'reblog' someone elses work onto your blog.

You have the ability to also follow and subscribe to other blogs and stay updated on what they do. You can send messages in the form of an ask. Music players are available also.

To simply put it, it's like your facebook but a different website.

Cooking by 3obaidin nude

[–]xsami -2 points-1 points ago

Look at all that mess which could lead to a serious health and safety hazard if stumbled upon it. Surely cooking without clothes is rather unhygenic. No apron or protective clothing used, she's going to spread airborne pathogens or possibly burn herself to a severe extent. Has she washed her hands? Touchborne pathogens. The flour isn't fair trade and could have great amounts of artificial wheat, and what if it contained an allergy she was allergic to.

Oh dear me, I am disappointed.

Hexapod programming help. by xsamiin arduino

[–]xsami[S] 1 point2 points ago

All the servo's are hooked up to one arduino controller being power supplied by the computer, not sure how much voltage is being given. If the portable battery is used, 9.6V with 800mAh.

The arduino LED does go dimmer when the servos' are very slow or unresponsive but bright when operational. I did try the 10-15ms but the same servo problem happened when the code was expanded or developed.
