Cool, this is ahead of its time... but it'll come to importance when virtualisation based protectors are even more common. At least to my mind that's the area where this can work ;)

Actually IDA Pro has many Debugger Frontends (dynamic analysis, runtime). In reality you do both. Static and dynamic analysis. And get the best out of both worlds. Try unpacking some UPX or what, and you'll see what I mean. Then try decoding. Imho de-obfuscation will answer this question - specifically for everybody who tries. ,)
