I'd recommend against Ojibwa. It's basically a dead language. How about Spanish or Japanese? If you are in the US, Spanish is a pretty useful language.

What are a few free or paid PHP search engines that are highly recommended? by beatsforthemindin PHP

[–]warbaby-baby 0 points1 point ago

Yes, but comparing Postgres full text search with Google Custom Search is like comparing rocket surgery to dingleberry picking. Don't assume if you know how to setup fulltext indexing with MySQL you will know anything about full text searching with Pg. Source: my last full text searching with Postgres.

Learning the art of REAL stained glass windows: Where do I start? by ironman454in DIY

[–]warbaby-baby 0 points1 point ago

I used to work for a small stained glass company a long time ago. After you have a design, you'll need glass stock (colored and clear/etched), a big table, a good glass cutter, a water/grinder to smooth the edges, copper tape (for the edges of the class) and rosin core solder to put the pieces together. None of these items are extremely expensive, except for the water-grinder.

Larger pieces need metal or lead support structures built into them. It takes some engineering experience to make a large window which will not collapse under its own weight.

So, these are simply generalities. My advise would be to find a glass studio and go hang out/volunteer/work for free there for a while. You can learn a lot in a very short period of time. Oh, and get the little rubber grippy things for your fingers. Ground glass sucks on the hands and you'll be messing with it all day.

I meant to say, I'd replace the T & Y because short of using couplers on everything, you're going to have to cut that stuff out anyway.

What's my best bet for getting a car in the under $1000 range? by TheEllimistin Frugal

[–]warbaby-baby 0 points1 point ago

It's not like a dealership, there will not be any hand-holding. I don't believe the car can leave the yard, there are guys driving huge forklifts around all day. You have to take a risk to get a decent car, but you can make sure it's a calculated one. Pick something very common so it's easy and cheap to get parts, or just buy two.
