It's not my photo, but I'm familiar with the setup... The mikrotik is being used as a router. I believe the ubnt PoE injectors are for one Rocket M5 + 30dB dual polarity dish which is the backhaul/uplink, and several 90 or 120 degree sector antennas, each of which also has its own Rocket M5.

Nanobridge as vastly preferable to AirGrids as CPEs because they're 2x2 MIMO, an AirGrid can only do MCS7 (1x1 chain 802.11n). The AirGrid really only exists to connect to legacy 802.11g and single polarity networks or for very cheap point to point bridges that do not require much bandwidth.

I've found fuser+roller replacement kits on eBay for like $20 to $30, and the rubber roller replacement process looks really fast and easy. I'm loathe to buy some modern laser printer for $400 that might not have the fantastic track record and famous reliability of these HP 4000/4100 series.

I still remember the Laserjet 4 series in the 1990s and those lasted forever.

Sportcheck is to bikes as your local dollar store is to quality household kitchen implements (hint: they rust and/or fall apart after two weeks). At least Canadian Tire sells some useful and good quality car stuff like rain-x wiper blades, cleaning supplies/wax, etc.

It's well known about the brands, people buy them for the component set. The frames are welded by Kinesis or some other major taiwanese frame makers that sell OEM frames. Bikesdirect does ship to Blaine or Point Roberts, where a number of different mailbox places will receive a box for five dollars.

wal-mart sells really shit bicycles...

for $400-500 if a person wants a basic bike they would do best to find a Giant dealer that can sell them a basic flat bar road type/hybrid design with entry level shimano (or sram) derailleur setup... like, shimano acera level components.

at 300 pounds I'm going to recommend a steel frame or a cyclocross frame and fork, not a synapse or madone. the wheelset idea is good, you definitely don't want the stock wheelset.
