TROPHY CASE

Just a pair of gloves made of human skin. by Jesselivermorein WTF

[–]vmos 7 points8 points ago

I'll tell you what's wrong. It's really difficult to tan, it's so thin it wears out quickly, it's a bugger to stitch and because it's so hard to tan and stitch properly, it's rarely waterprooof.

the thing about the grunge look was that it wasn't a look, you can take the same clothes (maybe without the holes in the jeans) and you won't look like a total plonker. However if you wear the same clothes that teenagers were wearing in the 80s, how you look very much depends on if you're currently a teenager or not

Despite your claims you clearly haven't mastered the "art" of reading and writing, you don't seem to have even heard of the art of "not being a total dickhead". Good day to you.

but I didn't understand, that's why I asked what you meant. This symbol ? means the preceding sentence was a question or enquiry. If you had truly mastered the rules of reading and writing, you would know that.

yeah, but it's one of those phrases that doesn't make sense when you take it apart. Just because something can be described as "nothing to sneeze at" doesn't mean that you sneeze at things.

I n the same way that a building can have "nooks and crannies" or just nooks but can't have just crannies or you can find something "by hook and by crook" but you can't find anything by hook.

I don't mean to be cheeky, but is english your first language?

What is the most computer illiterate thing you've witnessed? by Peppe22in AskReddit

[–]vmos 1 point2 points ago

My colleague was on the phone, he needed to take down a phone number the person on the end of the line was giving him. He put them on hold, couldn't find his pen, looked for the backup pen, couldn't find that. Looked in his drawers, looked all round the desks, eventually found a pen lying on the floor, rummaged around for a piece of paper, then went back to the person who had been on hold for a few minutes and wrote down the number.

In front of him was a large plastic object with moveable button covered in typographic symbols, moving these buttons causes a signal to be sent to a devices capable of recording and displaying letters and numbers in a piece of "software" commonly known as Notepad.exe, even opening up msbloodypaint would have been quicker than what he did.

Now this may not sound particularly computer illiterate but we're TECHNICAL FUCKING SUPPORT

did you happen to catch Shane on Harry Hills TV burp, singing with a narwhal? Usually when harry hill says something like that you expect it to be some misunderstanding, like a clip of shane singing on a beach and he drops an ice cream cone on a seals head, but no, he'd actually got shane macgowan into the studio to sing "fairytale of new york" with someone in a narwhal costume singing the kirsty macoll bits in the way you would expect a narwhal to sing

"I could have been someone..."

I was in a bar where the guy on stage did 25 minutes of material about how much he hated his wife because she was divorcing him.

It was a pub quiz and he was supposed to be reading out the questions
