Whenever Steve Frazier does the weather on Fox 9... by CommunistFodderin twincitiessocial

He's still more entertaining than any other weatherman on TV.

Possibly not the correct subreddit, but does anyone know where I can get a piece of glass cut? by nutzboltzin twincitiessocial

Home Depot will depending on the size/thickness of the glass.

Give me a few hours (I'm not at home right now), and I can look through my Freestyle catalog to give you some recommendations.

Help me reddit. Is it really okay to just leave? by simpletrainin relationships

[–]vivalakellye 1 point2 points ago

I think it depends on whom she's dating. OP may inadvertently bring out the worst in this woman (This is just am example; I can't prove any of this.) It's possible that a relationship with another man would bring out her more rational side. Again, I'm just speculating/being somewhat of a devil's advocate.

You can also add mushrooms and some colby jack cheese or Mexican blend.

[–]vivalakellye 28 points29 points ago

The woman invested 3.5 potentially childbearing years into this relationship. Yes, her behavior toward OP is immature (and he definitely should leave), but it's cruel to string her along to the point in her life where she can't physically have children.

IT managers, what are some of your good interview questions? by Nihlin techsupport

[–]vivalakellye 0 points1 point ago

You'd have to be careful with wording that question/challenge. I'd never correct someone interviewing me--it's simply disrespectful.

Stir-fried broccoli and red onions with mozzarella cheese sandwiched between two tortillas. Try it.

This reminds me of my mom complaining that she made $20K/yr in 1981 at her first job. I put the number into an inflation calculator and found out that she made nearly $50K in today's dollars. Yeah, mom, you had it real tough.

Incoming Freshman, should I take the chemistry placement test (CSOM) by PointyTipin uofmn

What OneCrookedVulture said is pretty much what I was getting at. The more you study a certain subject in-depth, the more likely you are to forget a previously deep understanding of another. I took Astronomy with Terry Jones (no, not the guy from Monty Python) for my physical science. I'm taking Anthropology for my biological science. Wanted to take The Evolution of Sex, but it didn't fit into my schedule in the way I wanted it to.

Check out Columbia's line of coats. They're on the low end, price-wise, and are still really warm. I recommend the coats with a fleece lining and a waterproof-looking shell (I think it's made of nylon, but I'm not sure.)

Not worth it. Once you start taking CSOM classes, you won't want to take a harder science course.

My apologies. Both show up as "[box], underscore, [box]." I've never seen the crying face before, so I assumed it was the look of disapproval.

I'm assuming it's because most of the students who scored higher applied to CSOM as a safety school.

[–]vivalakellye 0 points1 point ago

Got a 29 on my ACT and graduated with a 3.8 (I think. My high school issues GPAs on a 100-point scale, so I ended up with a 96- or 97-point-something.) I took 9 AP classes throughout high school, was president of Latin Club, in NHS, did Habitat for Humanity, and took part in an internship program through my hs.

I'd forgotten that I'd applied to Carlson. Didn't care when I got waitlisted and then placed in CLA in January of senior year. At the end of April my senior year of high school, I was admitted into CSOM.

When you can get a hold of Carl at Allied, he's awesome. He charges a bit more than one would assume is reasonable, but he's very frank about what he can and can't fix.
