TROPHY CASE

Cannabis cultivation now a 'multi-million euro industry' in Ireland by salvia_din cannabis

[–]vitalysh 0 points1 point ago

Lucky you, some calculations calculations here in Finland:

I would equate a bottle of beer to one spliff (0.3g) with current shitty market prices that gives:

Bottle of alright beer = 3.50 euro for 0,5 litres

Spliff = 20 euro for 1g / 3 spliffs = 6.5 euro a piece roughly.

I think what will happen in case of taxation and legalisation here: prices will remain roughly same (even if production is cheap, Finland will tax it through the roof), competition will be in quality.

To be honest this scenario is perfect for me, people will get what they want without crossing a line and govt will get more money in the end.

Yep, deploy apps via group policy, metro interface on start-up with all software that user needs pinned to it. Done. I can see that this will work with most users at my place.

I Found A Kindle.. Why Brick It? by RankMotleyMindedScutin kindle

[–]vitalysh 4 points5 points ago

Exactly! My kindle was stolen from me in the bus. Kindle 3g, it was registered on another account same night! 0 help from amazon and police won't contact them either. It is soo annoying, because I know for a fact that both amazon and 3g provider here in finland have data on a thief.

You can offer free serial numbers with new games, activating SN gives you content. If you buy used game you can buy that content online. For example new maps/skins/guns.

I'm sysadmin myself, and as soon as I see such attitude as you describe I quit. As simple as that. Yes, I can do overtime with no pay when I see it is needed or emergency happened, but if it is on regular basis with 0 compensation? Find new sysadmin. I don't get why I always hear this horror stories about working in gaming industry, is it that difficult to find another place?
