This seems to be the case. I reported a Gauntlet for simply right click following me after raging at me in text. He used spells to intentionally steal CK then used his grapple to annoy me randomly. Typical troll, so I reported him.
Instead I get a warning because what he did wasn't bad, and if I make another report like that I am unable to report again for another 3 months. Really, S2? Watch the reply and it's obvious he was being a dick, but nope.

Remember: every time you die it's always the teams fault.
This is the one thing that drives me nuts about so many players. I'm all for someone complaining about dying when the team could have helped (ie: push sticking you to safety, throwing down a stun, healing, etc.) But when people complain about dying when they are overextended with 5 MIA players I can't help but scratch my head.
One thing I've started to say more to my team is "my fault" and "I shouldn't have been there" when I die. Owning up to mistakes helps team morale. Don't be in denial, don't blame you team every time you fuck up. Ezpz.
Why can't I queue with 50mmr difference but I can get a 120MMR difference in "Balanced" by Festivalenin HeroesofNewerth
[–]uberamd -1 points0 points1 point 3 days ago
He is trying to say that when he solo queues he gets stuck in games with people who are way below his level (120 MMR under him). When he solo queues he expects a smaller range in MMR between his teammates.
IE: If he is 1750 he expects to only queue with people who are 1700-1750, not 1630-1750.

Not bad considering the server that I tested on is over 200 miles away and in a different state.
Cyanogen gives his thoughts on the "mostly final" version of the SGSIII by PalaNINin Android
[–]uberamd 0 points1 point2 points 7 days ago
Speaking from the SGSII standpoint: touchwiz themed apps, such as Messages, are terrible. The SMS bubbles are so god damn gigantic that 2 messages fit on your screen without scrolling. Its tacky and looks stupid. And sadly I really dislike the replacement SMS apps. I'm a major fan of the stock AOSP messages look.

Will the HoN API ever work again? One of the greatest things the community has done, outside of the game, is create awesome statistical websites. I was working on one that had beautiful, interactive graphics and trees. But alas, the API to obtain data is down, and has been for ages now.
Along with that the website doesn't even work to view recent matches. What gives?

And you still think 1366x768 looks nice on a 13"? Different strokes I guess.
[–]uberamd 2 points3 points4 points 17 days ago
1366x768 only looks nice if you have nothing to compare it to.
I have a 1600x900 14" HP Elitebook 8440p and a 1920x1200 17" MacBook Pro. Both of those displays look great. The 11" MacBook Air is a 1366x768, and I think that's where that resolution belongs - 11" or less. 13" really should be 1440x900, minimum.

No, it isn't the same thing. One is legal and suggested by the DOT and the other is illegal and not suggested by the DOT. I argued my point based on using two lanes legally, and got upvoted for accuracy. You're adding in an illegal activity as if it somehow lessens the validity of what I said.
[–]uberamd 5 points6 points7 points 22 days ago
There are two obvious cases for the zipper-merge. When traffic is moving at regular (or slightly slower) speed, and when traffic is stopped. When traffic is stopped you're supposed to use the zipper technique because it is safer and reduces the size of backups.
When traffic is moving at normal speed you're obviously not supposed to use it. See: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/zippermerge/
[–]uberamd 3 points4 points5 points 22 days ago
Wow, you're an angry individual.
http://www.dot.state.mn.us/zippermerge/ Read about it and educate yourself.
[–]uberamd 4 points5 points6 points 22 days ago
No, you're talking about the same thing. You're supposed to fully utilize both lanes of traffic until the one lane ends, then zipper-merge the traffic. Having everyone get in the lane that doesn't end just leaves a massive line of slow moving traffic. Half that line of traffic should be in the lane that ends, and simply take turns merging.
It makes you look like an asshole when you are driving past the stopped traffic and merging at the front, but that really is how it's supposed to work.
Why was April a busy month for S2? by nordoixin HeroesofNewerth
[–]uberamd 0 points1 point2 points 22 days ago
I, for one, have really been enjoying the DreamHon event. Watching the constant streams is great, seeing tdM plow through teams is also quite enjoyable to watch.
On top of that, a mid wars game mode is really awesome. Even competitive players like tralf and moon have been really pumped up and excited about DreamHon. I think April was a good month for S2, despite what many of you naysayers think.

How are you supposed to improve your MMR when playing solo pub games? by OurKarassin HeroesofNewerth
[–]uberamd 0 points1 point2 points 23 days ago
To win: go mid. Easy as that. I used to have the hardest time winning solo games until I just went mid. The hero was relatively irrelevant -- I just had to go mid. Why? I had enough confidence in my abilities that I could win mid lane against my opponent, and 95% of the time I did.
Once you're winning mid, place a ward or two to help your side-lanes stay safe. Call out when the enemy gets a rune and heads to a bot/top gank, and keep getting all the creeps you can get. If you absolutely dominate mid you'll win the game.
Are you talking about right when the NGE hit? Because I do remember that, and it was absolutely absurd. It looked ridiculous with all the spamming, and PvP lasted all of 3 seconds. Oh how I miss pre-CU (or heck, even CU) SWG. The depth and complexity of that game is still entirely unrivaled.

"We" are a small group of Android enthusiasts and don't accurately represent the majority Android consumer.
[–]uberamd 10 points11 points12 points 29 days ago
Your comments are childish and ridiculous. As a developer I can say that ColdSnickersBar is right, and your view is entirely off. Your idea of "oh, clearly your app is crap then" is flat out WRONG.
I have a buddy that does great app work. He has stopped developing for Android and is now iOS exclusive. He uses an Android phone, hates Apple, but knows that if he wants to make money he must keep developing for iOS. And he echos the same statements CSB said: it is less time consuming and pays better.
Moreover, its funny how you say "a majority of us are willing to support a person who makes a high quality app." Do you realize that we are a small niche group of users? We are the fanboys, the hardcore Android users, the ROM flashers. We do not even come close to representing what the Android customer base is interested in. The fact that you associate /r/android with the purchasing patterns of the average person shows you are simply, and completely, out of touch with reality. Who cares if most of us are willing to support developers? We are basically a rounding error when it comes to Android user numbers.

I know plenty of people who went from a SGS product to an iPhone 4S. App ecosystem and ease of use appeal to people and Apple is doing well on those fronts.
It isn't brainwashing.
