I have to congratulate you, that is maybe to highest downvote/time ratio I've ever seen for an account, well played.

Don't see much UK hip-hop here, so here's one of my favourites with a big inspirational sound, The Streets - Turn The Page by twitch135in hiphopheads

[–]twitch135[S] 1 point2 points ago

Yeah, I'm not big into the UK scene myself but I discovered this album at the bottom of a drawer this morning and was blown away yet again. For me, The Streets and UK hip-hop in general are pretty damn hit-and-miss but songs like this, can't help but love it.

It probably does mean she shouldn't be in RealAsians, seeing hows she is both a model and not Asian.

Remember 2010, when the tyres didn't go off as soon as you pushed? Lewis Hamilton from Australia, Malaysia & China by Alx09in formula1

Forgetting the tyres for a minute, watching this makes me wonder, why we needed DRS in the first place? Every one of those was a genuine, pace-based and skill-based overtake and it makes me sad to see what we have now.

Sure, cars are passing each other, but real genuine overtaking? Its almost dead in the modern sport.

Downvote clearly came from someone who has never lived in the UK. You'd be lucky to even see the sun in summer, never mind winter.

I think this guy needs to be a new addition to the BBC Coverage line-up. I mean, he already has his own iPad.. by twitch135in formula1

[–]twitch135[S] 15 points16 points ago

It was the others reaction that made it for me. They all simultaneously threw their hands up and went "whoaaa... We didn't make hi say that!" I try to avoid the word, but there is such an atmosphere of 'banter' on the BBC team that the Sky F1 team is really lacking in my opinion. Brundle is still churning out his quotes but they're the only time the Sky coverage makes me smile, I was chuckling pretty much the whole way through the post-race and Forum.

Mark, we need to catch the pack! by jolijin formula1

I think the bump lifted the front-end aero out of its functioning angle, forcing air underneath instead of over the top, creating lift and when he put the boot down at the same time, rear aero was still locking the back two wheels down, resulting in the bad-ass wheely we see before us.

Chinese GP - Race discussion by Vilkkuin formula1

Well, that should silence the critics who said Nico was an average driver. He Vettel-ed the shit out of one of the most closely contested races I've seen in a long time. Hell yes.

Well, they are mutually exclusive. Actual control and the illusion of control. How could it possibly be both?

Question about reading a book I'm not that in love with... by psychgirl88in books

[–]twitch135 0 points1 point ago

I say keep reading. Middlemarch is one of my favourite books ever but it is a slow-burner, I admit it's not as explosively captivating as other books I've read but I found it very rewarding.

Rosbergs post-Malaysian GP video blog reflecting on a very difficult race for Mercedes GP by twitch135in formula1

[–]twitch135[S] 5 points6 points ago

Rosberg gets attention? As a Rosberg fan, I notice he is barely mentioned on BBC or Sky broadcast, a little more this year because the car is better than before, but he is still largely ignored for is more senior team-mate.
