it's methanol injection actually. It's injected into the intake charge to decrease intake temps allowing you to advance your timing more, and making for a denser air charge.

agreed. I tend to avoid Honda owners like the plague. If they own a Honda newer than 1990, or a crx of any year I tend to just avoid them. I have an 88 Accord btw, and the number of times I get asked if it's VTEC just kills me.

That one I don't have an answer for. Maybe the school rankings for all combined schools average higher? ie, other cities have 1 or 2 good schools and some really shitty ones. whereas all of ours are pretty similar in quality. Just an idea.

That article is about the quarter mile run. It says in the article that the bike ran a 4.531 1/8th mile and a 6.9 1/4. They're the same run.

Why not? I know a guy that runs a snowmobile motor with a snowmobile cvt transmission in his tube chassis race car. It's easily one of the fastest things I've ever seen, and he doesn't have to bother shifting gears.

I'm not sure. I always thought it was somewhere in Spain. I do remember seeing a bunch of pictures of girls dressed exactly like that being gas station attendants. I just can't for the life of me find the pictures.

Also Oregon requires gas station attendants by law. You aren't allowed to pump your own fuel. So the last time I saw one would have been when I went to Oregon with my girlfriend for her orientation.

As soon as I up to r1 carbs I'll be selling this setup. manifold, carbs, extra jets. hopefully as a bundle to another 3geez memeber since it'll be bolt on for them.

they're 34mm. I'll be upping to yamaha r1 carbs pretty soon here, and they're 40mm. 700cfm holley has venturis that are 1.25 inches which is smaller than my current setup.

I will agree that they're nowhere near as big as the ones on that acura, but they're definitely not that small either.

I run quad bike carbs on my accord. It's not as bad as you'd think. I live in Idaho. Just use a block heater on the super cold days, and the rest of the time it just takes a couple pumps of the gas and a pull of the choke cable.
