In 2008, during the time of the Beijing olympics I was in Thailand with a friend. So, for a week we stayed in a bungalow park on Ko-Phangan. Our bungalow was apart from the others, with the porch facing the jungle (well, more a tropical forest, but jungle sounds so adventurous..)

Anyways, so we were sitting on the porch, minding our own business, tripping balls on mushrooms when all of a sudden one of us said something like "wouldn't it be cool if there were cameras in the forest and they would just show us instead of the olympics?"

Ten to fifteen minutes later, we came to the only logical conclusion that this was in fact the case. Yes, we were 100% positive that pictures of us, sitting on that porch, were broadcasted live around the globe. With two sports commentators commenting on every move ( ".. looks like tobi tries to get another sip of ice tea, he grabs the can... HE TAKES A SIP! ... look at his face, i bet it tastes like rainbows and happy music")

Sometimes, I like to think that just maybe it was true, but nobody ever told us..
