Fellow Romanians, what are some good/easy/your favorite Romanian meals? by Agemrepusin Romania

I don't think "patience" has a plural, so patiences is not a word.

Is this wireless computer seen on Craigslist likely a scam? by Carl262in techsupport

[–]thraex -1 points0 points ago

It's not 'that' cheap, that's the market price for them in TN as well, just check some posts. I can buy a faster, smaller factor one, with 15" screen keyboard and mouse, delivered and installed, for $100.

Old computers ARE cheap.

Thank you, it's nice to know how old it is. Is there a good place for me to sell the ivory? It can't be sold on eBay.

Turning a pallet into a kitchen display shelf by NinaCamachoin DIY

[–]thraex 0 points1 point ago

The really sturdy blue pallets? Those are made to be sturdy and reusable. They're also ugly, and too industrial. There are nice clean pallets meant for one use only that are perfectly safe for indoors; they're also heat treated.

If they have "HT" stamped on them, it means they are heat treated, not chemically treated.

It's just you. It's a family owned business, and he portrays it that way. I find his commercials a lot less annoying that all the other local dealerships which scream at the top of their lungs.

Seeing the dirt being thrown on the coffin gives closure to the family. Some family members break down and weep heavily at that time. I wouldn't consider leaving the site without seeing the coffin being buried.

Hey r/Nashville! My family and I are going down there next week. What are some great things to do there? by Craziumin nashville

[–]thraex 1 point2 points ago

Saturday, April 7 you can go to the Nashville Art Crawl, 6-9. It's free and awesome. Also, visit some local breweries, and the Corsair distillery.

Carpet Cleaning Nashville | Top-Carpet-Cleaners.Com by perryloisin nashville

[–]thraex 1 point2 points ago

I don't think you realize how reddit works.

You can pay for targeted advertising, so your cleaning company would show up as a sponsor for Nashville, but just submitting a link to your company gives you nothing but perhaps comments like this and rage.

Cheers!

I first downloaded the Iolo software by mistake from the Dell supports site, thinking it was your normal system diagnostics software. I knew it was complete crap the moment it started counting each item in the Recycle Bin as an 'issue'.

What's funny about recycling?

black males with t-shirts over their heads were afraid of my microwave I use for target practice. This is why everyone should own a tactical microwave. by swordsaintzeroin mallninja

It wasn't the microwave, they just looked through the window and saw all the trash inside, and decided to leave.

Need some advice. I recently discovered that my employer installed spy software on my computer. What would you do? by Throwawoot22in techsupport

[–]thraex 2 points3 points ago

Maybe he didn't trust the guy that left, are you sure the software wasn't already there when you started?

I think your thinking is too complicated. I know a boss who installed this for one of his employees, suspected of shooting the shit all day on FB and online games instead of doing work. He didn't want to fire the person without proof. The computer belongs to the company, and you should not check your FB and other personal things with it, unless specifically approved. That's what smartphones are for!

Can i use 2 AP with different frequencies in the same network with the same SSID? by g00lanin networking

[–]thraex 0 points1 point ago

I did it once and an iPad kept jumping between the two, never really staying connected to either one.

If it's your house, do it. If you're doing it for someone else, I wouldn't, lest they try to connect with a crappy cheap adapter and it doesn't work right.
