Im using an unupgraded spear. 2handed, no shield. I've only just set foot in the Parish for the first time, im more a noob than you. Although my character has quick dodges.

I guess. Just seems like a lot of people have this knee jerk reaction about the stand. I know it may defeat the purpose of a handheld but it is quite comfortable.

I think it's quite useful for any 3ds game. Though I play at a table mostly, or with the system on my lap. I'll definitely be using your discovery though. It'll mean my carry case will close better.

Dark Souls and Skyrim or Ocarina of Time. I love the degree of character control in Dark Souls. I just wish it leant a bit more towards a world like that of Skyrim or OoT.

I think that you are right there. I used to emulate SNES, NES and GBA games all the time. I never decided to stop, it was the wish to play on original hardware that stopped me in the end. It's daunting to have some many games available to me.
