What is your biggest split personality/contradiction? I am a Jock who is a computer nerd at heart. by tylerhampton00in AskReddit

You would be incredibly surprised my friend. Being in a college does help a bit. It at least gives you better odds at finding someone that has above average intelligence. There are several women in my engineering class who are very attractive, intelligent, and some of them even watch/play intramural sports.

You'll have to check with them on Tuesday. The DMV is closed on government holidays. Just saving you a trip.

I was just at the Family Fun Center a couple weeks ago. Space is fairly small compared to something like the Pizza Machine, but the indoor paintball and laser tag aren't bad at all.

We need more people like you in the world. If I came out as an atheist to everyone I know, I would be shunned by many of my friends and family.

Hey redditors of Omaha, if you're looking for an awesome place to collaborate this summer, you should check out Nerd-Kon. June 8th-10th. by thebpfeifin Omaha

[–]thebpfeif[S] 0 points1 point ago

I am just a friend of the gentleman that runs Nerd-Kon. I DO know that they are a non-profit company with the goal of bringing together people in the area that have similar interests but have nowhere to go.

I will message my friend and see if I can get him on this thread to answer your questions.

I am so, so sorry. Western Nebraska is terrible. I lived in Kimball, about 45 minutes south of you, for a year of my childhood. What brings you to Omaha?

A question concerning dog hearing by JRR549in askscience

[–]thebpfeif 7 points8 points ago

Yes. They use this concept when manufacturing dog whistles, which have a much higher frequency than 20,000Hz so that only dogs may hear it. You could create an entire song based on those higher frequencies for your dog if you really wanted to.

Last summer I spent two weeks in North Korea on a state tour, AMA. by RookieMonsterin IAmA

[–]thebpfeif 4 points5 points ago

I'm not so sure about that. It says here that only 55 per 1,000 residents actually have a television in their home. The vast majority of North Korean's receive their news via radios (which must be registered with the government.).
