at work i do minor admin work for a bunch of clients and i have access to all users and passwords. i have never once seen a 16 char password and these are for people in investment firms and medicare.

my work on the other hand requires alpha-numeric passwords with a minimum of 1 special character.

I do agree with you on the bruteforce statment though and youd think people would be smarter with their passwords, ESPECIALLY when youre diablo 3 account is involved.

well as a ranged class, i could see that, but as a monk if my skills are on CD or i dont have enough spirit, it's generally a non-issue or better than doing nothing as i am already in the middle of a pack.

Once you get the hang of holding shift, it's actually very intuitive. helps that i rebound my alt key function to mouse 5 as i had extra mouse buttons.

i had the same issue around the end of A2. I hit the ah, dropped 15k in gear, and have been sailing through A3.

if you dont have around 9k hp by now you are doing it wrong.

Holding shift will do it for you if held before pressing your skill key. Probably not the answer you were looking for though.

Lol after i got your response i read the rest of the thread and realized my question was silly.

After regearing in A2 NM im 49 about to drop the a3 boss NM and destroying everything again (dual wielding)

my current build. pretty similar to yours but my spirit dump is the AOE version for wave of light. currently critting for 6k+ and oneshotting weaker guys. I runed the healing mantra to generate 3sp/s and i dont have spirit starvation. It alows me to spam the 75 spirit costing spell and coupled with transendance is a HUGE heal. (the knockback and holy damage is nice too)

Let me know what you think of the spec. Viable in hell? I dont care much for the minion skills as they seem to just die too fast to be of much use for me atm.

i hit a wall in NM yesterday and understand your passives now. Transcendence seems absolutely crucial to survivaling at this point.

heres a question about gearing now, since you have One with everything are you just stacking one type of resistance? If so is there any benefit to any particular one? (ie easier to find on items)

ya i was planning on something similar for hell/inferno (only in nm at @37 where i can still just dps the shit out of things)

when i get a moment, i'm going to toss your skill/rune choices into the calculator so i can ivestigate a bit better. I don't have all the runes down yet.

Question though, why no Resolve passive and/or crippling wave (concussion)?

hey im one of those guys! i charge 1250-5000 for rares. who could justify 1.000.000 gold on a lvl 29 bastard sword that you are going to outgrow in a few levels?

most of the stuff i put up there gets sold.

edit: also i was unaware you could filter by B/O costs. i was sorting by B/o and getting pretty bad results.

Is it multiplicative which would make it a 40% reduction? Or is it additive making it a 45% reduction? Or does it just take the higher of the two? Do they stack with party member's damage reduction abilities and do they stack with monks using the same ability?

i was wondering this too.

m1: crippling wave (concussion)

m2: wave of the thousand fists (attack speed on crits, for now)

1: Serenity (heals)

2: Dashing Strike (quicksilver)

3: Cyclone Strike (area increase) for runners/ranged

3: Lashing Kick (runed for maxed damage) for a boss spirit dump

4: Mantra of Evasion (Divine Protection)

Passives: Resolved, Seize the Innitiative, The mantra spirit gen one. (swapping out for combo strike when available)

so pretty much im sucking stuff in with cyclone and using crippling wave to add 40-45% DR as OP stated, once i see the SNARED text ill swap up way of 1000 fists.

I started NM this morning and cyclone hasnt been needed as much as i did in a3/4 of norm, so im trying to rotate wave of light in, maybe runed for less spirit cost. Pretty much 3 is my one rotated skill.

This feels mroe like a saftey build, which works for me well. Havent had any problems yet in nm and a little more than halfway through.

also combonation strike applies damage buffs for each generator you use up to +24% damage. I use crippling wave and way of the thousand fists myself.

this @21 is my current build.

I am stacking DEX and absolutely destroying things right now in a2 norm. Lots of M1-ing right now but stuff dies faaaaaast. also im dual wielding.

ya i use it on champs/uniques after removing all other mobs from the area, a total waste if you dont do that first with that cooldown.

just unlocked the minion and replaced 7ss with that for fun. I thought the summon was going to be absolute garbage but it moves so fast it will tank most projectiles for you. really helpful in a2 so farm.
