Yes... but let's talk about the few (gigantic) reasons we shouldn't.

Appropriately maybe, but by using the feminine one you are more inclusive of the gender that typical gets the short end of the bias stick.

Have you ever noticed that the DnD rulebooks (since 3e) almost exclusively use the feminine nouns/pronouns. This is why.

I appreciate the transparency, and it's true that TED is not obligated to post everything.

However:

We'd carry more in the future if someone can find a way of framing the issue that is convincing and avoids being needlessly partisan in tone.

It seem to me, this is almost exclusively a partisan political issue in the first place. How do you frame it otherwise?

No, it's about accountability.

Those investors are the owners of the company, they are in fact responsible. That is the where the social contract fails...

But "execute" a corporation, by seizing all assets and giving them back to The People, and ending the corporation, forever would.

Investors would pay attention to how ethical a company was then.

That has nothing to do with whether it's a democracy.

Sure it does. In a democracy, we choose (by voting) to have the loose fiscal policy that is the basis for the failure. We chose to spend all that money on wars that bought us nothing. We choose to not raise taxes on those that can afford them, etc. That's democracy.

The whole premise here is that the voters are at fault.

But I can point to our loose fiscal policy and realize that in a generation or two, You and I will be forced to pay a tax burden that will cause a large number of people to get pissed the fuck off.

Ya man, we are in agreement. It's just, we have at least one more of these before this behavior is stopped, because this particular opportunity was completely wasted.

We won't even have a real picture until the culprits are long since free and clear.
