Why does one jailbreak their iPhones?

You can do this. At first I did this but it was such a pain to keep them updated. I didn't really have that many and didn't see the point. Most the apps was 99 cents. Last time I did it was to test all the different GPS Software they had ($30-$60 a pop). Once I picked the one I liked I bought it. I know there is a refund option for apps but it's a pain in the arse. I agree, bite SMS, sbsettings, and the big one for me is my3g that tricks the phone into thinking you are on wifi so you can do FaceTime anywhere, download big apps and bypass all the limitations that the carrier puts on you when you aren't on wifi.

It used to be a lot more things like multitasking, camera app was better. Even video before it was supported. With improvements with the IOS a lot of the stuff is now built in. It's still better with it Jailbroken. There are a lot of little tweaks that make a big difference.

I did this to an ex-coworker about this time last year when he went on vacation.

Operation: McDonald's Cubicle

A Co-Worker we nicknamed McDouche loves McDonalds. He actually tried to convince us that it's healthy. Obviously, he never watched Super Size Me. Anyway, we printed out copies of the actual cheeseburger wrap and covered the entire cube with it. Replaced most his paper work with the wrap, replaced the Kleenex with it and his printer paper. The printer one should be awesome as he can't see it until he prints it. Also, we filled all his overhead cabinets with packaging pop corn that will fall out when opened. Finally, we found pictures online of the menu and printed out on our work's plotters and I quickly made the drive through thingy.

As we were looking at our handy work, one of us got the idea to have everyone at the company call and leave orders on his voicemail. I called the phone guy and had him increase his mailbox size to 120 minutes. Even the CIO left his order and it took him 15 minutes to delete all the messages!

Not in a class room but I think it might count. I was in a Jr. High and it was lunch time. This school happened to have a covered concrete basketball court set up between to buildings. Most of the kids would hang out there and eat their lunches. One day not being satisfied with the fruit cup my mother had given me for lunch I chucked it over my shoulder as hard as I could. After a minute or so I decided to get up and leave. I wasn't rushed .. didn't hurry .. in fact no one near me even saw me throw the cup even though I was surrounded by my friends. What happened next is information I got second hand. Of course the kid that my fruit cup hit was one of the biggest jocks.. and didn't like one of my friends who was more the musician type of guy. My friend happen to notice him looking around and seeing him covered in the fruit cup let out a laughed.. the jock took it to mean he had thrown the cup. The biggest food fight in the history of the school then commenced. I didn't even get to see it! First class after lunch a teacher showed up at my classroom (mind you still with some food in his hair) and took me to the office. The principle asked me if I had seen anything and I lied but honestly and convincingly told him that I wasn't there for the food fight. I had witnesses that I wasn't there when the food fight happened. I ended up getting off scot-free! No one got in trouble and the school was let out early because the more than 1/2 the school was covered in food head to toe, including several teachers. I let my friend know it had in fact been me about a week later and word spread on the grapevine.. I was cool until my family moved.

I hate you .. and not in the because "I'm secretly jealous" way but in the "Oh great another useless twat" way. Seriously I hate you a-holes. I've traveled all over the U.S., Europe, and Middle East. I've experienced other cultures and studied other religions served a term in the Marine Corps and have thoroughly enjoy every bit of it (No I DIDN'T do my traveling while in the service, I did it before and after). I also did this while holding down a steady job, raising two kids, paying my mortgage and my taxes. By the way I just turned 35 so it hasn't taken me 50 years to do it either.

Then we have you who at 27, "disillusioned", "fed up", "bored" decide that the best thing in your life you could do is totally give up on your old life by getting rid of your crap and drifting in the hope that knowledge and understanding will come to you on the journey? What a load of crap.

I understand not finding your niche, I understand not being happy with what you got, I understand the helpless you may feel because you can find "happiness", what I don't understand is your method.

Your type tends to use the line about not knowing what you want. I just say bullpucky to that. Everyone knows what they want. Anyone that says differently is full of crap. I want to be superman, and a porno star, and an astronaut. Am I crying like a baby, throwing a temper tantrum breaking/throwing/selling all my stuff and huffing off because it didn't happen? NO. Grow the hell up!

Sure you have less to deal with.. and I'm sure right now that feels great. At the same time you are asking people on here what you should be doing or where you should be going. That just means, once again, you are just being lazy. You may be saying "What wrong with asking for help?" and I say nothing! However, do you honestly think you are going to find you path to enlightenment by following others' paths?

The worst part about you guys is that most of you do it just so you can get attention and have people tell you how brave/adventurous you are and that you are somehow better than us. I view you as just being a p*ssy.

To be honest I could give a crap about you and what you do in your life. I just don't want to hear about it anymore. I mean, if you are going to leave everything behind. Go full force and leave your Reddit account behind too! If you weren't seeking attention or some sort of validation you would've just ask for help without giving us your whole lame story.

The best thing I ever did in my 2nd marriage (yes second I split with the first over this) was separate accounts. We split the bills.. I make a more and don't have any problem paying more of the bills. I'd be doing something like stated above if it we only had one income. I've never had a fight over money or what she spends hers on and vice-versa and it's bliss.

NOTE: I don't hide anything nor does she.. in fact we have each others passwords and can look at the accounts and even transfer between accounts when needed. Just the fact that they are separate makes all the difference.
