Anybody got tips on how they learnt to distinguish and express tones accurately and intuitively? by SuperNinKenDoin learnvietnamese

Have you tried practicing speaking with a tone chart? Find some words that are the same except for tone, and practice them together.

Edit: I don't know where this guy got his "3-second" figure, but it does make sense that the differences would contrast more if there's less time between them.

Windows and the main Linux distros come with different language keyboards built in, you just have to enable them.

This (Norwegian) grammar checker has been very helpful. It seems to be a demo project so it doesn't always tell you what exactly is wrong with your incorrect sentences, but usually it does.

Edit: I also use Verbix a lot, for conjugations.

Actually I had something like what was done to Broca and Einstein in mind, but I guess this is a better way to go about it?

I haven't yet put much time into the actual science of transhumanism; I hope that's not too painfully obvious.

I've never heard of any companies doing chemical preservation. Are there none to hear about? Is chemical preservation a non-viable technology?
