TROPHY CASE

Does anyone know what the use of the second, mini pocket in the right hand pocket if jeans is/was used for, and why it was originally put there in the first place? by tomeyoin AskReddit

[–]sturmeh 1 point2 points ago

They were originally designed for pocket watches, but with the decline of their popularity they became smaller as they then became chance pouches.

Personally I put my minimal keys in there if I'm not driving so they don't scratch my phone. (Otherwise I'd put them with my wallet, where it's less comfortable.)

What should I make? by Durbs42in drunk

[–]sturmeh 0 points1 point ago

In rpg's that have crafting where the recipes are not provided (i.e. you attempt to make random combinations) and where you lose mats when you fail to craft (or produce a dud); there are usually guides you can follow to produce the best results.

This is the same with liquor and randomly mixing, a majority of the time an uninformed mixture is just going to taste horrible.

That being said, experimenting is how it all starts! :D

That's pretty average for a Reddit meet-up, the introverted guys are much less likely to turn up than the girls.

Well fuck, I might need to buy a console if I want to be fit anytime soon.

Although I could do push-ups whilst waiting for a Dota2 match.

It's not e-ink.

There's no such thing as e-paper, so it wasn't really a false claim.

Can a phone be connected to 2 bluetooth devices at once? by Squibblesin pebble

[–]sturmeh 0 points1 point ago

Most certainly, you can pair with up to X (determined by device) many devices, and after that you can still connect to another device in order to perform un-paired operations.

You can certainly pair with your pebble watch and a hands-free device.

CSE runs a similar game: CSE Murder, you need a CSE account to play it though.

Water guns seem messy, NERF? (HvZ would be awesome.)

I'm just warning other people like myself who look at it at work, it's slightly inappropriate.

Your post title does nothing to suggest that this may in the very least be as such.

I don't have a problem with the app, or think that Google would.

Blizzard intentionally makes passwords non-case sensitive by oterenin netsec

[–]sturmeh 2 points3 points ago

Well actually, you're comparing a character set of 94 with a set of 68 (That's all type-able ASCII with and without caps, you might be able to get away with way more if uni-code is allowed).

945 = 7339040224

685 = 1453933568

Essentially, the search space is ~7 times larger if you enforce caps.

Now watch what happens when you add a SINGLE (allowable, as per above) character to your password.

946 = 689869781056

686 = 98867482624

Again, it's roughly ~7 times larger when you enforce caps.

However note that increasing the length of the password by one character has increased the space:

945 = 7339040224

946 = 689869781056

That's right, it gets 100 times more complex.

So when they remove caps check, they make it 7 times easier to crack your password whilst giving everyone the benefit of being able to log in when capslock is on. (A common problem for some users.)

However when you omit a character from the length of your password, you are making it 100 times easier to break. (This is ignoring the fact you may be using only letters, numbers or dictionary words of course.)

That's not nearly enough evidence to nearly confirm what you attempted to.
