No they are not. Buy two identical high quality steaks. Cook one medium rare, and one well done. There is a massive difference in taste and texture. As well, the well done steak will leave a horrible after taste in your mouth.

I have a friend who is one of the top chefs in the country. I asked him what they do is this scenario. They cut and age their steaks in house, and actually reserve their lowest quality steaks for when people ask for well done. You are handling it just like a pro.

Dude, do not marry her. I repeat, do not marry her. My brother was dating a cute skinny girl, and she put on a ridiculous amount of weight during the engagement until she hit morbid obesity after they were married. The only thing she would do was go to work, and she was barely holding on to that. She slept constantly and didn’t move, and couldn’t get up stairs without being out of breath. He did all the housework, cleaning, groceries, yard maintenance, and worked two jobs because of her debt (lazy). Not to mention she became very physically unattractive, and I can’t even imagine the logistics of how he could have sex with a woman that size. She couldn’t even reach her own toe nails to cut them. Disgusting. She always wanted to stay home and never would let him go anywhere, so this made him miserable. He finally smartened up and got a divorce.

I find it is the same, the amount we drink is not. What I used to get drunk off of is an appetizer now. Being older and having money means we drink more. Basically we drink like old men.

I really wish more of them realized that. There is no job security and little benefits anymore, and you need a much higher level of education for most jobs now. They wouldn’t last five minutes today.

My dad dropped out of high school and became a mail man. That same job is now much harder to get, and much more stressful. Everything is computed to every minor detail now. They are expected to carry the letters in their hands a certain exact way and deliver an amount of mail that is physically damaging over time. No more cushy walks.

I was speaking to someone else the other day whose father was a cop. He got on the force at 19, impossible these days, and became a detective at 25, again impossible at the age and without a university degree. He bought his first house at 23 and payed off it off before he hit 30. He retired with a ridiculous salary.

Trips to cottage country or the beach are now even luxuries for young people. Everyone stays home on long weekends and can’t even afford to rent a shack, or even the gas or car insurance to get there.

I also find people never consider peoples current situation. A single women who just started a career and has a mountain of student loan debt is not the best person to ask when they are going to start a family.

I think you also have to make sure there is an even distribution of physical fitness among them. If the females in a unit met the standards but were below the unit average physically, then there could be resentment by the rest of the male members that have to pick up the slack. There needs to be some strong, above average females in there too. You also need to understand there may be far different treatment of POWs. What would the men in Sudan, Rwanda, Somalia, Afghanistan, etc... do to a captured woman.

They are products of an immigration system that favours people with money, and come from a society split by wealth where people are dirt cheap. In Western Europe and North America there is an emphasis on treating everyone equally and some basic civic duties like touching your own garbage.

To give you an idea, I read an interesting article about many of these Asians coming here where their money does not go as far. They had grown up having everything done for them, and were ashamed to be seen washing their own cars or shopping for groceries. One man they were following cried because he had to lower himself to washing his own car, he would do it inside his garage so he would not be seen.

It is not just an Asian(as in Chinese) problem. I have met a lot of people from India, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe with the same disgusting attitude. Wherever their is severely polarized society, there are these assholes.

Getty is a straight up rip off. I saw an image I wanted to use once, it cost $14,000. I could have taken a course in photography, bought equipment, bought the clothes used for the shoot, and flown to the location with my friends and used them as the models, and taken the same picture for cheaper then that.

True. The problem with a gym is everyone looks like a gymbro. I used to work out at the what was considered the muscle head gym in town. Where all the serious people go. On the surface they look intimidating, all sweaty and grunting everywhere. They were all actually really nice kind people. They would even have bar nights together, go on group vacations, etc...

At the time of my post it had only a few up-votes and few comments for the amount of time it has been posted. Even now it only has 14 up-votes. It was clear it was not going to get a big enough audience to gather enough advice, so this was not the best sub-reddit for this question. The sub-reddits I recommended specialize in this and other similar problems, and will be more receptive and have plenty of existing posts speaking about this issue.

Half the comments at /r/sex, in my experience, would be something along the lines of "Husband won't fuck you? Send me over instead!”

Please show me an example post similar to this where half of the comments are like that. That is a gross exaggeration. The tiny amount of comments that would be like that would be strongly down-voted.

My uncles getting married in NY after being together for 20 years.

I was the same way, I called both my great-uncle and his partner uncle. I really wish more people understood this. Many same sex couples are in long term relationships. My uncles were together for nearly 50 years, and were good upstanding people. One of them was even a decorated Korean war veteran and served in the military for 15 years. They did nothing but work hard and pay taxes. They gave and never took.

This is not a good sub-reddit for this. Try r/sex. It is has a lot of posts from people with the same issue, and who fixed it. For example: Problem and then Solved. Hint, the answer is always communication. The resident expert there is maxxters. She has the answer for everything. Also try r/DeadBedrooms, a subreddit exclusively for this issue.
