So last week I hitchhiked from Riga to Tallinn and it was surprisingly easy. We were thinking of going down to Vilnius the same way at some point in time, thoughts? Have you ever gone that distance (from say, Estonia?)

We all see what we want to see. You're obviously so deeply embedded into this mindset of the wronged woman that you read things the way that they weren't meant to be read.

I so happen to be a fine arts major as well, and a woman, and I can say with absolute conviction that period blood paintings are some stupid art school/women's studies thing that deserves no scholarly attention. It's vulgar and blandly conceptual at best, has been done too many times in the past and in no way is this going to gain anyone's respect for women, just like semen paintings don't particularly appease my appetite and make me respect men more. Would you call me women-hating as well, for not holding such extreme values?

And in response to your lovely caps lock: of course we're all human but aren't you sort of stating the opposite when you put women on some pedestal as something frail and easily dismissed? And if not a militant feminist, then if you had to, how would you label yourself based on your previous claims of misogyny and defense of period blood art? It wouldn't matter if you're a woman either; your claims are ridiculous no matter which set of chromosomes you possess.
