We aren't here to defend trademark infringers. SOPA went too far. Taking down/banning sites called "louiszvuitton.com and knockoffluisvuittonhandbags.com" is not anywhere near what SOPA may have done. These people are clearly infringers. This article is utter bullshit.

Thanks for the help. I usually keep the wifi on so my phone and kindle can sync to each other, as I am constantly switching devices. I guess I'll have to be more alert about bookmarking and turning off the wifi, though. Thanks!

So you're saying that the ads don't have any effect on battery life? e.g. "standby mode" drains no more battery than the full power off?

I do indeed have no idea how e ink works. I have the wifi on. When I press the switch to the side briefly, the screen displays an ad. I figured I had put the kindle into "standby" mode, and that was using battery. Are you saying that isn't draining my battery?

It was a cold day in Colorado. My family and I had decided to go on a skiing trip, since our family friends had gotten some kind of deal for a "free" condo.

So, it was my first time skiing. Me and some of my closest friends donned our snowsuits and skis and attended a group lesson together. Thankfully, there were enough of us where we were the only ones in the group. Our instructor gave us a short set of directions, and I set off down the slope. Despite his dire warnings, I french fried when I should have pizza'd, and I had a bad time.
