Johnny Greenwood can do no wrong.

Trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson's new film - THE MASTER - just released. This is going to be a cult classic! by sound1downin Filmmakers

/woosh

My previous comment is a bit dickish. Allow me to explain - the plot involves a religion called "The Cause" which has been compared to Scientology. Hence, "This is going to be a cult classic."

How do you rectify cutting cable, but still pay $65+ a month for Internet + $8 for Netflix + $9 for Hulu + whatever other streaming service you might subscribe to? by sound1downin cordcutters

I wish I had the fiber option. Unfortunately my choice is Comcast or Comcast for Internet, so I'm stuck paying $65 a month for decent internet.

It seems like the price evens out to what I'd pay for a regular cable subscription.

On mass executions and the docility of the victims by SmellsLikeUpfooin bestof

My apologies. I should have said 'lighter' rather than 'softer.' As in, the dubious need for a happy ending.

Thank you for the thorough reply. I'll definitely rent the adaption this weekend.

How faithful is the adaptation? Does it maintain the third act, or is the film's ending softened by the Hollywood demand to placate to audiences' softer senses?

Huh, Brian Skerry, the photographer responsible for this pic, gave a talk in my town a few weeks ago. He had a lot to say about Right Whales. Here is a photo of Mr. Skerry next to one: Iconic

I had my worst food experience to date at Miss Delta. Went there for the super cheap hot wings. The wings came out bloody and still with a few feathers (I fucking shit you not). It was like they poured some hot sauce on raw chicken, cooked the wings for about two minutes then decided that was good enough. The waitress was kind enough when I showed her the pink, raw meat.

My neighbor and I (we live off 82nd and Stark) were talking about My Brother's Crawfish last night. We both agreed that the boils are absolutely delicious, but most of the other food lacks - especially the poboys.
