You should search for Husain Abdullah who plays for the Minnesota Vikings. I read some interesting articles about him and his training during Ramadan. IIRC, his diet is similar to the Warrior diet(massive food load once a day) but he did it before first prayer and after the last. He also adjusted his sleep schedule to accommodate a better workout/eat cycle.

What does the class teach though? I just can't imagine a semester or quarter's worth of the class. Did it discuss radiometric dating? Did it go over how fossilization occurs? What about the formation of sedimentary rock layers?

I'd be happy to tell you. The majority of the "dozens,if not hundreds" of other Christian schools offer an education that is based in reality. While they may advocate god being in your life, they don't offer Jesus as the answer to many science based questions, nor do they offer the devil as the answer to many philosophical or behavioral science questions. Giving children a foundation of education that shuns modern day science and is against equality is counterproductive regardless of what they get a degree in. Of course no one is forcing them to go to this school, aside from a few overzealous parents. There is a reason that many schools will not accept transfer credits from Liberty. There is nothing wrong with students picking the university they want and LU has every right to teach what they want, but that does not obligate the rest of academia or the hiring companies to hold their diploma-mill-esque degree in the same regard ans those who attending legitimate schools. Also, about the, "Are non of them 'real'?", it depends. Some schools put education first, others do not. There is a spectrum of religious schools. On one end, you have a Jesuit school like Georgetown or Boston College. Education is absolutely paramount and students are expected to leave with a complete, well rounded education. In the middle you have a school like BYU. The academics are still top notch but an extremely outdated Christian moral and social code is implemented(though not always enforced). Then you have a school like Oral Roberts. It was also started by a mega church millionaire, but over the years it has transitioned away from blind indoctrination and is now much more mainstream in its teaching philosophies. Then at the bottom you have schools like LU. God did it, homosexuals are an abomination, and the bible trumps whatever scientific fact you can throw at it. Edit: I some words

I went to a Godsmack/Deftones show back in '99 or '00. They were touring with CKY as the opener and it was being held at Shoreline Amphitheater which is the popular spot for SF Bay Area concerts. I was about 16 at the time and excited to see all three. This was right when the CKY videos were coming out and we were all obsessed with recreating the stupid shopping cart scenes and jumping off roofs into bushes for fun. I didn't care for Godsmack much but they were getting a ridiculous amount of radio playtime so I figured seeing them live would have to be good. Deftones had just come out with 'Change' and overall it seemed like it was going to be a good show. Well as soon as my friends and I get there we find out the Deftones have had to bow out of the concert that night and to this day I still don't know the reason(which may have been legit or not). We sit through CKY which sounded like absolute shit. They played an extra song or 2 to make up for the hour of lost Deftones music I guess. The speakers had constant feedback and their music reminded me of little kids banging pots and pans on the kitchen floor. They ended their set in a merciful example of audio euthanasia.Then the real shit hit the fan. The stage gets completely dark and the band's music came over the loud speaker like we were getting pumped up for something huge. It was just an opening rift with some drums behind it but nothing I had heard before. We all started jumping up and down and I thought they were going to explode into some crazy bowel tearing song. All of a sudden when things were about to boil over and we were starting to mosh, the music stopped completely and these huge fucking screens on either side of the stage, like 50 foot movie screens, started playing this lame as shit cartoon of the band. It was like the cartoon of the Gorrillaz in their music videos but completely fucking lame. It was just them doing boring shit backstage. We had to watch a couple minutes of this cartoon network reject material in between each one of their utterly horrible songs. We ended up leaving about half way through the show, along with MANY others, and went to the car with our heads hung low. We walked into the parking lot with about 50 other people and every single one was saying how they wanted to torch their bus for making us watch such shit.
TL:DR Went to see Godsmack/Deftones/CKY, no Deftones, just bloody eardrums and cartoons

I would never base my life of or a book, You referenced one thing Jesus supposedly said in a response to the comment OP, I simply said he was referring to the other (insert large % here) of the bible that was decidedly against human rights of all kinds.

Yep, it was hyperbole. Since you are going to be obtuse, how about this; the majority of the bible advocated for behavior that is way outside of our cultural norms today, including homosexuality. Using the parts of the bible to contradict other parts of the bible to make your point that the we should listen to certain parts of the bible is not a strong position.

Really? To me it sounded like regardless of what CNN reports, this man has no interest in Ron Paul and his insignificant delegate count. I don't think it's because of what any news station says. It is because Romney will be the nominee and Ron Paul doesn't have a chance.

I'm afraid your brother is too far gone for the slap around technique. For later stage manifestations like this, the pastor or anti-gay activist would have to initiate phase 2. That would consist of performing oral sex and having bare-back sex with your brother to introduce him to a normal, straight life. There is still hope. Just have your brother meet him in an hourly motel to begin the treatment.
