Burning copies of the Quran on September 11 is a vile, ignorant, incendiary idea and will be a disservice to the families of the 60 or so innocent Muslims who were killed in the attacks nine years ago by DougBolivarin politics

In the end of the day its a bunch of ideas written down on paper put forward by something several centuries agao being burnt by people who follow the ideas of a someone else who proposed them a few centuries earlier. It's all just absurd. Someone should host an Adam Smith book barbecue at the same time. Or maybe a Dale Carnegie book roast. Or an Ayn Rand book cook off. The only thing idiotic about it is the emotional reactions on either side.

It actually boils down the inability to pass on an eBook, give it as a gift or buy it used.

E-books are great for your personal collection but they have the following unacceptable drawbacks; 1. you can't pass them on to fellow travellers when your backpacking 2. you can't buy or sell them at used book stores

$15 is still more than a second-hand book.

The issue is that you can pass on an eReader like you can pass on a book. It's just not the same thing.
