Can you change settings in one without affecting the other? If so, you can just turn notifications for one off and ignore the app if you can't uninstall it.

I would love to have the subreddit swipe to be replaced with profile and inbox pages. I have so many subreddits that swiping through them all is kind of inefficient. I'd rather the subreddit page just change the front page to whatever subreddit you select.

It was definitely not official. Blogs were reporting that customers were being told by tech support reps that they were reading an official notice, but that's a bad game of telephone. I won't believe it until an actual screenshot of PDF gets leaked, and even then I'll still be somewhat skeptical.

I wouldn't say "undisputed" - while it is probably best when it comes to radios and stock battery life, the Galaxy Nexus has a much better screen as well as NFC, two things the RAZR will never be able to get via updates.

When I'm downloading an app on my tablet, I want to know if there's a tablet UI to it. Many apps don't, and I wish the Store just had a little green check mark if it has a tablet-optimized UI. Maybe a section dedicated to those apps with a tablet UI.
