HFL: dishonesty, advertising, and rebadged Chinese motorcycles?

It's fairly common for companies in the states and Europe to purchase electronics in China, rebrand and sell as their own (this is in fact what makes up most of Chinas manufacturing.)

It is only starting to happen with bikes because the Chinese industry is relatively young, and unknown. As manufacturers over here set their sites on western markets you are going to see more and more brands like this popping up. There is nothing inherently wrong with this approach - is there?

Not very expensive at all! I paid RMB250 (on taobao, the chinese equivalent of e-bay)

This is possible - In my mind though, the military doesn't pay enough to warrant leaving a child motherless. Even if it is temporary.

I don't know if anyone really understands how important the first few years of development are for a child, I do know that you would have to pay me more than a military salary to miss out on my child's early years.

Are so few jobs available for a young (presumably) low skill-set workers in the states? I don't mean to sound condescending but are times really that hard over there?

I get especially testy when I see this kind of suffering inflicted on a child, for no really good reason.

Was her country under a valid threat, then yes - she would be justified (for example, second world war mothers sending their children to the countryside to avoid the bombing in the cities.)

America is not under threat, certainly no threat important enough to require mothers to leave their children.

Bringing up a kid is tough, It's also at least 50% her responsibility.

She is running away from her responsibility to her child.

She is irresponsible.

Over here it's predominantly electric / LPG scooters on the road. I would hazard a guess that this is one of less than 100 Ducatis in all of shanghai...

Thats exactly why it caught my eye. I love my electric scooter, but there is no passion to it.

That's how I remember it playing out in the books, wonder how they are going to reconcile / change the plot in the future because of this.

I personally quite like how there are a few changes here and there, it keeps it interesting watching through a story I'm already so familiar with.

Lemon juice is a great alternative - I have also found using coffee grounds (used) in my water mix can help with the PH.

the 150 titles included COD, Assassins creed 2, Demon Souls, Modnation racers, uncharted 2... lots and lots of new titles, as well as some older games and Chinese local games.

They cant play online, but I used the "free trial" to play through the games and find the ones worth buying.

Unfortunately, you cant play online with the copied games, you can try, but it may result in you being blocked from the PSN.

You can however, but the real games and go online with your chipped console.
