It would, but remember that all sciences are usually lumped together (chemistry, biology, and physics). Make sure you ate comfortable in all three. Flexibility will make you a better candidate. Also, schools love a masters in education.

For a soft science, that would make sense. For the hard sciences and Math, if you are going through the time to get a masters, you can probably get a better paying job than teaching. Practically, a masters in education would make more sense.

Chart out the song. You don't need yo transpose it, but figure out each section. I did that for a band I tried out for and it helped with learning the music quicker.
