Probably won't happen given America's stance on Taiwan for China, and the US already cooperates with Russia for the space program, and used Russian bases to get troops to and from the middle east.

I think in the grander scheme of things there is nothing to worry about. This is the 21st century, and as this global depression/recession has shown, every civilized nation in the world is linked economically. This link (especially the Chinese-American bond) is the thing that makes another big war between nations unlikely. I don't know about you, but I don't seriously consider Russia or China to be threatening. Sure, there's the occasional pissing match, but the Cold War is long since over. Military training between the US, China, and Russia builds trust between the nations which should deter war for the foreseeable future.

I'm an english major myself, and constantly have people chastise this fact. I love literature, but what I really love is learning the skills needed to analyze writing and to communicate effectively. I know that an english degree isn't some automatic guarantee of a job, which is why I'm going to be using it to go to law school. After all, law requires a lot of reading, a lot of writing, and a lot of interpretation.

Gulf Coast and West Florida are diploma mills? This is news to me. I'm from the east part of the state, but I've visited both schools and know people that attend both. Never once did I get the impression that the academics at either place (let alone any state school) were lacking. Florida has a weak secondary education system, but one of the best college and university systems in the south.

If you want to talk diploma mill, take a look at Keiser, U Phoenix, or Strayer.

My point is that when you buy a wedding/engagement ring for someone, it is an important symbol. No one wants a "recycled" ring, so to speak, because they won't feel like they are your number one.

If I were a girl, I'd feel horrible if I ever found out that the ring a guy used to propose to me with was one he originally bought for someone else. It's not about the ring, it's the thought behind it. Perfect case of "feels bad man" :(

Floridian here. My opinion is that a drivers license should be much harder to get in the first place (i.e. you must actually demonstrate you understand the goddamn rules of the road), and that after age 60 you're required to renew your qualifications yearly as well as pass a vision test.

Some people have money and want expensive toys. To imply that Paris Hilton doesn't deserve her LFA because she doesn't know much about the technology is ridiculous. I don't know the history of tennis, I don't have the newest racquet, and I don't know a whole hell of a lot about style or form. Would I piss you off then if you saw me on a tennis court?

As much as I truly love the idea, I'm sure that the parent companies recognize the potential security risk, and rehearse scenarios where the individual stations are obligated to immediately shut off the pumps if the price goes too low.
