Hop Spider DIY by ChicagoAnalogin Homebrewing

if your hop schedule is 60 and 30 minutes that means you add your first hops with 60 minutes remaining in the boil and your second hops with 30 minutes remaining in the boil

Which tour is better? Milwaukee Brewing Company or Lakefront Brewery? by exlibris15in milwaukee

[–]rellek13 11 points12 points ago

ABC news gives lakefront the #4 in the country and I would agree that it is awesome. $7 gets you a pint glass and 4 "6 oz" pours (they are usually pretty generous, and often give away extra tokens). Haven't been on MBCs tour but I can't imagine it is better... I'd say go for both, we're in Wisconsin after all

trying to get a grip on terminology here. So steep is past vertical... Overhung is near parallel to the ground then?

Thanks. I've always had that inkling, but was unsure... Maybe one of these days I'll actually get to climb outside

I'm assuming that steep in this context means past vertical? forgive my stupidity... maybe I should have saved this question for a Friday

I bring my five fingers... they pack down nice and small and once I set up camp I can still hike 5 or 6 miles in them comfortably

For some reason this is utterly terrifying to me

Its not about being easily offended or being "touchy" its that your word choice is unnecessary and could be deemed genuinely offensive by someone reading your comment. Casual homophobia is exactly what the you can play project is opposing. Homophobic speech, be it in reddit posts or chants at games or talk in a locker room, is unacceptable. A bottom up change is what is needed to truly cause a change in hockey culture.

I appreciate you rewording your post .

If you can play, you can play. No homophobic language, please

Got creative when bottling my porter. by Roscoe_Merriweatherin Homebrewing

Thanks! After searching around a little this looks like it is what you are referring to. Also, looks like miller has a patent for preparing the extract.

When did you try the jackalope beer? I felt the same way when I first tasted their beer right after they opened, but they have gotten better (still not my favorite, but good). I think they were having some issues adjusting to new equipment and larger quantities.

Neighborhood safety vs. Affordability by moncamoncain nashville

Sylvan Park is nice, I live in Sylvan Heights which is more... affordable. The neighborhood is a little more eclectic than Sylvan Park, but I have never felt unsafe or seen anything too shady
