I thought I was going to be 100% into this article (did you see the thumbnail?), but it was mainly an incoherent rant.

Here is a summary: conservatives are starting to use the First Amendment to argue against Obamacare, specifically the contraceptive mandate. Some religious institutions feel they will have to violate their consciences. This seems hypocritical, as conservatives have been making many attempts to restrict other people's rights based on the same set of religious principals.

There is so much anger and misdirection in the article I found it hard to read. Matlin screaming to get rid of Obamacare is different from religious institutions wanting to opt out of one small item. AND there are better arguments than the author had against even that: every person who earns money has the potential to use that money in ways their church doesn't approve, for example, so this one element of healthcare is a strawman.
