I definitely did not expect walmart to have them since they're website wasn't very helpful, but I went anyway and was ridiculously lucky. Not sure how many they had, I was just way too happy to be buying Generations and Pets for $40. So if it helps, Ottawa Walmart at South Keys has them!

April/May in University/College towns means tons of students moving away and they need to get rid of furniture. There's always tons of great deals on craigslist at this time, even in the free section. Or just out on curbs. The student neighborhood near me also has a neighborhood-wide yard sale at this time.

My boyfriend isn't big on the idea of food being licked off of him, he'd rather just be licked. But I've tried a little bit of whipped cream, honey and strangely enough, yogurt and they were all very nice. I mostly just placed a little bit of each on him immediately before licking it off to reduce mess, but I have to say, the one day I tried alternating honey and yogurt while he was blindfolded and tied up was pretty amazing because it added a bit of temperature play to it as well with the cold yogurt and honey that I had to lick a lot to get completely off.

Just input on options. Haven't tried Nutella yet though, its now on the list.

I've never actually played a legacy through so this is kind of cool, I'm at about the 5th generation now :)

I agree with both of you. For now I think the OP needs to quit, to learn how to be on his own again and see what he can do. But once he can achieve that and no longer feels dependant on trees, then it can be indulged in every once in a while.

Just be careful of negative behaviours stemming from the lack of things to do. Most posters on here are really good about doing productive things when they give it up like reading or exercising, so pick something you like to fill time that would otherwise be spent smoking

Before I moved away for school I was working in retail and I would buy things I knew that I would need very slowly, whenever they went on sale. That way I was getting my discount on top of the sale price that I knew I wouldn't get when I moved away. I never had to pay full price for any of my essentials.

Also, when you buy all sorts of new stuff, keep your receipts! I work the returns desk as I'm going through University and there are so many things that before I would've just thrown out and bought another because it stopped working but if you have your receipt just return it! You may only be able to exchange it for another but think of the money you can save this way!

In my hometown and the city where I currently live (Ottawa, Ontario) there are cheap spay and neuter clinics as well, for the one big expense that you definitely need. They can have a long wait because they're so cheap but as long as you can wait a little it can save you a couple hundred dollars.

Maybe see a veterinary college for other things that you can't do yourself. They might do some things cheaper to teach students.

I'm in a similar situation but I recently moved in with my boyfriend. I've volunteered to do most of the cooking, if he'll do most of the cleaning and I've noticed a big difference in how I spend money on food and how much effort I put into it. I would never put effort into making a meal for myself, but now that I cook for two I always just decide to make extras for meals during the week. The cheap meal I'm proudest of though is my roast chicken. I learned that from one of the many r/frugal posts. I get the whole chicken on sale for about $6 for about 3.5 pounds and it makes at least two meals each. Then boiling down the bones to make chicken stock and making stew is also amazing. I'm actually having fun trying to see what I can create - and what I can brag about to friends who think the only way to eat cheap is to live on kraft dinner.

Just go to a doctor to get it frozen off. I had a horrible plantar's wart and I tried the at home freezing things a few times and it did no good. I went to a dermatologist twice for freezing treatments and when you get it done properly you realize why the at home ones are no good for serious warts. It was a lot faster.

Well the first night was pretty cool! My boyfriend and I got there when it was pretty empty and it seemed like it might be a little weird at that point because it was mostly groups of girls (I was worried he might feel out of place). But there were big groups of girls, couples, small groups, even people wandering around on their own. Then we wandered around caught a few shows - the Burlesque show was awesome! And it was a lot of fun!

Best part is, we have weekend passes so we're going back today and definitely going to buy something! Or a lot of somethings ;)

I used to hang out with friends who would party every weekend, all weekend. It would eat up money and time like you wouldn't believe. The predrink would cost me at least $10 to get a little drunk, usually at least $5 cover to get into the clubs and drinks once I got there. The girls I partied with didn't like bussing home after the clubs, we would always cab and we couldn't go out in the same dresses, heels and clutches every time. Furthermore, I would be hungover and tired the next day, just wasting time I could've been working or doing something productive.

Now I just get high with my boyfriend. We're starting to buy larger bags to be more cost-effective but it's already cheaper and more enjoyable than what I was doing before. We usually go through an 1/8 a week together. I justify the expense as a social activity, a replacement for alcohol (which gives me heartburn anyway) and a safer, healthier alternative to what I could be doing if I was out partying with those same girls.
