I shot it and set a small patch of field on fire. It was quickly extinguished. Me thinks the mannequin was doused with gasoline (or some other highly flammable agent). Hell, these rounds were originally marketed for crowd control.

I've seen him in San Francisco too. According to another homeless guy that was nearby, the owner gets enough money for crack, and off they go (maybe the dog smokes crack too, and that's why the dog's the way it is?). Although quite sad, the dog seemed well fed and otherwise cared for.

It was a little too formal for my taste. Especially when you're in shorts and a short sleeve shirt, and the staff is dressed like in a 4-5 star restaurant.

BTW: You can see the restaurant from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, to the right, shortly after the ride starts IIRC.

I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning!

I don't have the pic handy, but it REALLY hurts when you're up on the fence (as close as you can legally get) when a plane does a standing takeoff. After I did that, I talked to a local who said someone died a few years prior when a rock was kicked up off the runway and struck him in the head, killing him. I didn't do that again.

I'm in Rochester, NY, and I'm mad as hell. I called Verizon and AT&T about FiOS and U-verse, and both are not here. Verizon could only tell me that w/in the next few months, they would NOT be here (beyond that, no idea). AT&T doesn't even operate U-verse in the state. From what I know of Frontier DSL, that ain't gonna cut it either.

So I wrote a little note here (TWC theft of service), and I named TWC as the thief of the consumer. I am planning on writing my Senator and Congressman as well.

Was anyone else surprised by the following paragraph:

Emphasis mine. So, Texas basically gets to set the tone and policy for public schooling for a large section of the country? REALLY?

I agree its sickening. However, I am NOT sending this to everyone I know. Some of the people I know are easily led, and may believe Obama IS a terrorist after watching this. I guess I need some new friends.

While I think the cop's a tool for pepper spraying people who obviously shouldn't have been sprayed after being knocked down, I wonder what the guy he was dragging did in the first place? Was he peacefully protesting, or slashing tires?
