With all the other controversial stuff going on in rugby at the minute, like the biting, arm breaking, the continued shambles that is the modern scrum, JPR's daft ideas about regionalisation, etc etc, Gavin Henson makes the front page of the BBC News website for chucking ice at a stewardess whilst drunk on a plane.

Sadly with Gav his immense talent has always been eclipsed by his own ability to fuck things up for himself. To this day, I've not seen a more balanced natural runner with the ball in hand - and yes, I'm just as guilty as everyone else for following along with the latest sagas in the soap that his life seems to be, but I really hope this isn't the start of Rugby Union's inevitable descent into all the personality cult bullshit that football's become.

I know what you mean, but I reckon it's another good call by Roger Lewis - first of all Gatland deserves it, and it's recognition for him and Edwards, but also it's a good opportunity to provide Howley and McBryde with some high level experience and face time with the press - keeps them feeling like they're valued and developing as international coaches, hopefully making the team stay together longer, which given their collective success is what everyone wants.

Who've you all picked for your place kicker then? I'm trying to decide between Sexton and Parra, got them both in the side. I'm tending towards the scrum half since he's been kicking beautifully at club level, and I don't think an Irish half back has played 80 minutes since the war.

I have no advice beyond the suggestion that if you want actual advice you may have posted this in the wrong subreddit.
