FE Handbook gives you a nice summary of what you're expected to know (in terms of general engineering knowledge) by the end of your 4 years of engineering. It's useful even if you haven't started engineering yet. Also, FREE.

When the scout dies and drops his coffee, the cap should detach and spill out coffee.

The future for many graduates that colleges never tell you about. by Mind_Virusin occupywallstreet

I didn't even know there's such things as "low-level civil engineer". I always thought nowadays the minimum requirements to practice civil engineering is with a four-year degree, and any less than that falls under "engineering technician" or "engineering designer".

Ok, with all the hate for steam wand eggs in this thread, I actually think it could be a really novel and quick method of making scrambled eggs. The texture will definitely be different - much more fluffy.

Yes, it's gross if you don't clean the wand or reuse it to steam milk, but that can be circumvented by using a separate wand specifically for non-coffee, culinary uses and cleaning it after each use.

I'd love to try that once, for science. Here's my recipe I'd attempt:

Œufs Brouillés à la Vapeur

Because it sounds more legit in le Français

Ingredients:

  • Medium eggs (3)

  • Butter (1 tbsp, melted)

  • Crème fraîche (2 tbsp)

  • Sea salt

  • Fresh ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Add eggs and melted butter into a pitcher (the pitcher set aside specifically for food and not milk)

  2. Pop the yolks and lightly mix a bit with a spoon, but son't beat/wisk

  3. Steam with steam wand

  4. When the eggs are starting to solidify, add the crème fraîche and steam for just a bit longer.

  5. Serve, salt and pepper to taste, eat that shit.

  6. And then take the damn wand off and clean it.

  7. And also clean everything else too. Good kitchen habits, c'mon.
