yeah, i hate these... we went to the moon with only 74kb, yeah sure but while "rocket science" is complicated the computers needed to control rockets and spaceships really dont need to do very much compared to most other things we do. Most of the "calculations" and support are done by humans and very large computers back at home. The on board computers do very little. Some reprogrammed events and things you can set off.

So I like to say, they went to the moon with every byte they needed and not a byte more.

Chewing gum encourages you to breath more through your mouth rather than nose. It doesnt always work. and by dont always work I mean if it doesnt work for you the first time, it wont work for you.

matches are the same thing, sorta.(hold a freshly burnt match with your teeth) The smell of sulphur is supposed to encourage you not to smell.

Chilling them is a bit different as you are actually trying to reduce the fumes. Probably help the previously listed methods.

and the last one i have heard of and tried was cutting under water, it's ,more a pain than help.

But it all comes down to DONT SMELL THE FUMES.

one thing he didnt mention, though i think it should be. NOT ALL Drain cleaners use sodium hydroxide and bleach. A few use sulpheric or hydrochloric acid.

The reason I mention this, is there are people out there that think, "ALL DRAIN CLEANERS ARE THE SAME" and do really stupid stuff, like mix them. Like, when one bottle is low or doesnt seem to finish the job, so they try a different brand with some dangerous or at least messy results.

what exactly will be the point of humanity once they remove humanity based skins?(which is a good thing.. there is a reason why bandits say "friendly" when people ask, and I suspect that same reason would keep them from wearing clothes that scream "I'm bandit")

So I wonder the point if they remove the skins. Maybe they could add some negative aspects to being a bandit(besides no one trusts you, no one trusts anyone), maybe get sick easier.. or zombies have a shorter agro distance with bandits.. but then that removes some of the simulation and reality.

I suppose they could have a new NPC besides zombies, like bandit hunters. That would add a negative aspect to bandits, without ruining reality by giving bandits, bandit specific attributes like skins. Maybe slowly turn them into zombies. Slow down their running and such, make them sick and weaker after being a bandit for a long time, maybe lose the ability to chat.(yes still problems like you mentioned.. like self defense but that is why i'd like to see it after you have done a lot of banditry). I mean it is called "humanity", seems like if you lose it you shouldnt be human.

i dont know what do yall think? bandit hunters that even spawn in the woods.. or slowly degrade bandits into zombies. Make them kill zeds to get back some movement and control.

it is just teh game encourages you to be a bandit so much. I cant see the game ever not being PVP first, and zombies second. But is that negative? if we made being a bandit too negative, would it change the whole feeling and make people cooperate too much?

I like the crazy movements and how the crazy movement stop when inside.

outside it evens the field a tiny bit between seasoned players and noobs. And the movement inside opens up strategy, that isnt always available, unless you know where any open building is.

Last Sometimes I mistake the crawlers bandits going prone. With these guys I wouldnt mistake any of them for anything but zombies.

Maybe add a couple zombies like that. But if you noticed, we have both fast and slow zombies. Yeah this video looks more "movie real" but the way it is now feels more dangerous, and as such feels more real real, even if the movements arent.

Play bootcamp at least one time.. and you wont harass people as much looking like an idiot. Bootcamp wont train you some dayz specific things, but it will save you a ton.. A TON of learning time.

I also think it is humorous that a right winger like himself would make such a comment, since the right were outraged over taxes that didnt go up, over gun banning that never happened, over garden banning that never happened, over fishing banning that never happened, over a birthcert that was actually real, over czars even though bush had more. Over deficits even though they cheered when chenney said to paul o'neil(r) "the reagan proved deficits dont matter" when Paul O"neil dared said that the bush tax cuts would destroy the country.

the only real change he is offering is those vouchers, which is mainly a way for the unregulated religious schools to fill up on tax payer dollars. They arent suggesting that if their is a better preforming PUBLIC school that you would be allowed to drive your kids there on your own gas. Nope but you can go to a private school. Sure that will help some. But the main reason behind it is to fill up religious schools so they can teach that evolution and climate change are lies, gays suck and our country was founded to be a christian nation and thomas jefferson never existed.(no really look at texas)

the fact is Romney does poorly with social right wingers, who are the ones making gay marriage and issue.

The fact is romney gives them lip service when every he can. This is politics, there is almost always a reason for every comment.

But romney is actively trying to woo social conservatives.

Listen to the video, look at how much Romeny was attacked by major conservative leaders over his gay advisor.

Guarantee you every time romney mentions marriage, he will say man and woman or mom and dad. He just will. He doesnt want to give even the slightly hint that he supports gays in any manor or fashion.

You have a business and one of your costs goes up 10%, you look for areas that you can cut costs up to 10% to mitigate it. Otherwise profits decline. And profits declining are the opposite direction any business wants to take no matter the reason for the decline. And with gas it isnt like any business owner would predict that the cost would come significantly down and stay there. No Gas is going to continue the trend of rising prices.

it sounded like they were tied to the server, rather than the char.. not sure how much I would like that. Some of those vehicles take a ridiculous amount of parts(a good thing). But i feret out 60 parts to fix a helicopter including all the travel and zeds that involves, I'd kinda like to be able to keep it, even if the server goes down, is full or what ever.

it also seems to be that if it was server specific, that vehicles would be built until they reach a critical density to a point where it would be easier to find a car than build one. I could see this making vehicle populated servers very popular.

Of course this is if they are tied to the server. Not sure how they could be tied to the individual, unless you exited the game while in the drivers seat.

if it is server specific, and not sure if it can be done in arma, but it would be nice if they needed keys, or a car stealing tool.

And if it is server specific, you have to build the entire vehicle on one server? If so I'm never building one.

edit: big long discussion on vehicles on tents in the dayz forums.

they are server specific. When you die, the vehicle stays but you lose your crap stored in it.

from 5-9 so a patch or two ago.

for now you have to use the "Save" command from the mouse wheel menu in order to properly save a tent although there still is a 50% chance that a server will eat your tent no matter what

same which vehicles.

EVERYONE can take items out of your tent

this doesnt seem right.. but then again anyone can take items from my car. The description of a tent says it is protected storage or something like that. They do survive 2 days after death, giving you a chance to get your supplies back... but not the tent,.

there is a lot of discussion about the vehicles being finite and clans getting most of them and hiding them at their protected bases.

and I get to the end.. at least with tents seems like the new patch screwed them up royally and no one can find a field big enough for it to not complain that too many items are near by.

when zombie count is low, things spawning is low. I will often approach a barn and wait until zombies spawn before going all the way, some servers seem slow at times.

also the flies. You can hide bodies, Use the mouse wheel. and the body disappears, leaving nothing to loot, but you can still hear the flies.(you can also drag them as well, which could have uses)

I suppose people just hide them to be dicks, but bandits might hide them knowing you will take a longer time searching the area, and they might catch someone unawares. But what it tells me, is that someone is in the area. As if you find a dead body it could be from zed, and he just bleed out where he was.. or he could have fell off a building.. but if the body is hidden, i know someone did that and it scares me.

it would be nice to have sorta a bandit wiki, with proof of douchedom, moderated and all that. So when you are on a server and see one of them yell "friendly" you know better. Hey us survivors with morals, have got to fight back against the banditos, make them just as hunted as we are.

ok with 100k players this might not be reasonable, but there are a few out there that I wouldnt mind capping for a fellow survivor.

(and I bitch about two faced people but I like they are in the game, it feels more real. When beans are hard to come by, you have to expect to get shot for a can)

well the thing is, over the air tv was sold to us as needing commercials cause it was free. Along came cable. one of it;s major selling points at the time was that it hardly had any commercials.. well about half what you saw on normal tv. Slowly but surely they added and added and added commercials and now they are no different than broadcast tv.

the problem isnt viability, the problem is the more money they get, the more money they will try to get. and it all disappears down the executive rabbit hole.

you dont stop raising the price if lemonade until people stop buying it. Problem was that they were the only game in town. People who liked lemonade would only go to them. It was like this for decades. Suddenly lemonade stands are all over the place and executives dont want to reduce their pay and benefits to better compete, so instead they sue

hey it is human nature, i wouldnt want to cut my salary either. Still it is a bit distasteful.

The whole thing is one big bubble to me, like housing. It just isnt worth the value you receive from it. We can continue to have viable shows but they've got to roll back some of the insane pay, stars, executives and everything else to something more commensurate to what they provide.

I loved cheers but ted danson wasnt providing the world with 2 million dollars an episode worth of value. WE happily paid it but there was less choices back then.

There is just this expectation by the 1% that they deserve and need a mega salary to do anything. It isnt true.
