Wat. If you read my entire post, you saw exactly what I SHOULD have responded with. All the facts that he left out to better suit his opinions that he was trying to push on us.

No, he isn't.

I think you're missing the reason why this is very wrong.
I don't disagree with you that there is corruption in the Israeli government, as there is in every other governing power, and that there is ample amount of proof for it.

So why did he pick Israel-Palestine specifically after showing a Holocaust documentary? As you said, he could have described Sri-Lankan or Cambodian conflicts or even the War in Iraq if he really wanted to get a message across to young American students. Surly that would also make a better comparison in terms of crimes committed that we, as humans, were supposed to never let happen again, as the documentary concludes.
But nope, he picked the Israeli-Palestinian conflict specifically because Israel is a Jewish state.

Obviously, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a controversial subject and there is undeniably a lot of debate regarding certain issues.

The professor might have been stating facts, but he was also leaving out equally important facts. He was presenting one side of an argument of an ongoing conflict. In this way, he was pushing a political agenda in a classroom. The fact that he used an emotionally charged documentary on one of the most horrific events of recent human history to assist his dissemination makes it that much more wrong and disgusting.

fuck, I know. It's the end of the semester though, and risking a lower grade because of an argument with the teacher didn't seem like a good idea at the time. I have to maintain a certain gpa to keep my scholarship.

Well if you want to talk about related events, why not go back to last Wednesday.

The 5 Islamic Jihad militants were killed on Saturday. Can you guess what happened before that?

Here's a hint:

The strike in Rafah followed a Palestinian cross-border rocket launch this week which the Israelis blamed on Islamic Jihad.

That rocket launch happened on Wednesday...

These are two separate events. The only incorrect part of the title is the fact that the attacks caused no casualties, which qatari_secret_police pointed out.

Four rockets did indeed explode in Ashdod, Gan Yavne, and west of Be'er Sheva... a man was wounded and since the original article was submitted, has died of his injuries.
