When I was in CS the restaurant on SW Parkway was Polly's Cucina, it may have changed.

The ratio is a wild guess. And not really that specific. :-P

26 states willing to implement Christian Sharia isn't enough for the fundamentalists. They want all 50?

Now I really want to know who posted it. I just saw it today as I was microwaving my lunch.

The last time I used mine, I created a half height backplane for a wifi card in a HTPC.

As much as Nixon was a horrible paranoid man whose legacy will forever be tainted by his corrupt ways of obtain and keeping power, when it came to issues he was practical. He saw that Vietnam was an unwinnable morass destroying morale at home, draining money, and killing young Americans and he was willing to pull out. He recognized the value of trade with China despite their Communist government. He signed arms reduction treaties, civil rights legislation, restablished relations with Egypt, took us away from the Gold standard. "Obamacare" is essentially the program Nixon proposed in 1971. And, he turned the space race in to a co-operative mission with the Soviets with Apollo-Soyuz.

Sadly my iPhone camera has been having issues.

The left one is the response it reads:

Was Marco Polo Right?

Ever since Marco Polo invested posta more than 6000 years years ago, the mind of man has been "cooking up" theological mysteries, such as "Did the Flying Spaghetti Monster create the world?", "Should I cook with a tomato- or creame-based sauc?" and "How can I microwave old noodles without them tasting gross?" Dr. Richard Johnson, Ph.D. DSc. MD Eng TYS, is an expert in Pastafarianism and Thermodynamics who specializes in "dishing out" answers to those tough questions. Join us for a "no strings attached" seminar where Dr. Johnson answers the question that have been "straining" out minds. No "wet noodles" allowed!!

Profesor Johnson [above] is a frontrunner in his field who dares to aks the questions that no one else will ask, like "Does China really exist?" and "Why are these pretzels making me thirsty?"

Fascism is not necessarily Christian. The Japanese government from the 1920s-1940s is commonly considered Fascist, as were Kai-shek's Chinese Nationalists. Not to mention many of the pro-US Middle Eastern powers through the Cold War. The Iraqi Baath Party most notably.

Nothing I said is not true nor not obvious from just the first page of posts. He denies climate change in the IQ article. He posts repeatedly pro-Ron Paul pieces. He makes racist comments about minorities repeatedly. He call Pat Buchanon a defender of Christian and Western values. And remarks about anti-Christian indoctrination abound.

There is no elucidation there just head-in-the-sand right-wing propaganda.

Any experience with United Realty? by justalittleairbornin aggies

Documentation is really the best bet. It helps if you had a really good move-in form (and a copy of it still). We would also photograph things from move in.

Fight them on every point. I had one place (University Terrace Apts) that actually wanted to make us pay to replace the silvered mirror in the bathroom, water damage from when our upstairs neighbor's pipes burst, stains on the bathroom counter and carpet damage that was on our move in form. It went from them demanding $2000 in damages to us getting our full deposit back.

I've heard really bad things about United Realty in the past. In general I've found that pretty much every landlord in BCS will try to screw you out of your deposit.

Me and the Brother by lefayad1991in aggies

[–]plbogen 1 point2 points ago

The thing that pisses me off the most about people like Brother Jed is they trick many religious moderates and the religious left not to mention the non-religious that it is a battle between Christians and everyone else. So often the fact that I am religious gets in the way of the fact that I'm a social (and economic ) liberal who subscribes to liberation and universalist theologies and abhors evangelicalism and evangelism.

And I'd be more than happy to rent out my three bedroom house with great living spaces three blocks from Blinn to anyone in here who wants a nice Bryan house. :-P

I lived in Bryan for 7 years, and I disagree. The Republic, all of the Freebirds, Kyoto, Atami, all of Northgate, two Wings N' More locations, Mi Polly's Cucina, one of the Coco Loco and one of the Mi Familia locations, T Jin's, Chef Cao's, Veritas. Outside of downtown Bryan and a couple of hole in the walls, Bryan is really sparse. And that isn't even counting the fact that chain restaurants in CS outnumber the ones in Bryan 5 to 1.

So says a pro-Ron Paul, anti-climate change, racist blogger who defends Pat Buchanan and is convinced that academia, the left, and the Government are part of an anti-Christian conspiracy.

Question for Progressives: What is the number one reason you're not a conservative? by earnyourowndegreein progressive

[–]plbogen 6 points7 points ago*

I was tired of the willingness of conservatives to reject the rule of law and their inability to alter their beliefs in light of new facts.
