When Lois Pearson Started Fighting Back- For 12 days she was tortured and raped by a former neighbour, who strung her up on a deer-skinning device. On the fourth day, she forgave him (Contains graphic descriptions) by marquis_of_chaosin Foodforthought

I feel like you're looking at things, and my opinion, as A&B, black and white...

I'm not willing to go ahead and say that anyone deserves that kind of experience in life. That doesn't mean I think he should have gone unpunished, that's foolish. Prison sucks, especially when it's the blocks these guys get sent to. There are a billion roads that diverge philosophically here that I don't want to even attempt to map right now, but basically, I absolutely believe that the butterfly effect exists unless it's stomped out by ending the cycle and removing it from society - not endorsing it in retribution for the greater moral well being that only some believe in.

I really hope we aren't arguing Good Violence vs. Bad Violence.

Researchers have identified what they say are the oldest-known musical instruments in the world, flutes carbon-dated between 42,000 and 43,000 years old. by nomdewebin science

Excellent point. There has to be some way to look at the erosion (water marks, striations maybe) and tell some more about them.

And to go along with that, it doesn't matter what politics you have - when the planet is healthy EVERYONE benefits.

Wow what a gun snob comment. We're all here for the love of our hobby and you are the exact type of shithead I'd avoid shooting with. Go downvote all the AR posts too, and be careful up on that soapbox - you probably have weak ankles.

Good work man, they're solid guns even though they're hitting the "fire-for-fun" crowd a lot these days with new models. (I have the desert camo 18")

Gotta cell phone? An iPhone? You and the push for capitalist profits, and the lack of regulations are killing people. by allliein politics

So, me having a smart phone made this guy neglect his own safety at a base level, ignore safety regulations that were established, and also take a high risk job in the first place...

This is a pretty high horse to attempt riding. I didn't finish my dinner last night, and there are hungry people probably in my city. Am I total piece of shit??

That's OK, but he's right. Glass is a dicey move and cans crush to take up less space. It's a smarter move, not the other is a dumb one, just risky and avoidable.

Tonight's Workout by hockeytownwestin kettlebell

[–]phidel_kashflow 1 point2 points ago

I rested between parts 1,2 & 3 for about 1 minute. I used a #25 and a #35 and focused way more on speed than form, though the only parts that probably suffered were the TGU's.

Also stretched for about 20 minutes this morning. DO THAT. Damn, if you aren't doing it often, like I haven't been, it's so worth it to work into your week a few times.

What's your time, you animal? I'm gonna get this one in tonight.

** 28 minutes here, minus the foam roll. Just did 60 bicycle and 60 russian twist.

Great cardio.

Hey, assholes - "Stop being an asshole," as advice, MAKES YOU THE FUCKING ASSHOLE.

He's asking how to remedy the situation - there is nothing asshole-ish about that, rather the opposite. People make mistakes and poor decisions - emotions are powerful.

I applaud the kid for actually living life - traveling, relationship drama, etc. It's what makes life interesting, but continue your 'advice' giving...

Private prisons get federal dollars based on crime rates and lobbying done by groups representing the prisons from construction firms to guards. They are very powerful lobbies. They push for harder sentencing and laws and benefit by per-prisoner tax incentives, loans, etc. by keeping the prisons filled with non-violent offenders.

Sounds good. I hope you got the sarcasm in my use of Freedom. And I'm not saying what happens elsewhere is less important, rather the opposite. This is kind of making my point - you're in Argentina (where I've enjoyed many fine steaks and bottles of wine) and I'm in Colorado. We're having a discussion, we don't need somebody to do anything for us. Even these little thoughts could filter out into what you want to see happen.

The CIA acts on it's own accord for it's own coffers, smart people know that up here now with the illumination of contract armies etc. Some things we can try our hardest to change, that agency is going to be around for a long time though, even if it ever does end up having to go underground because of some revolution of minds.
