BUTTS! EVERYWHERE! by litostx3in fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

Seeing as people are downvoting you, this is the joke from the Monty Python sketch "The funniest joke in the world", where the English military develops a joke so funny it instantly kills you when you hear it. This was it.

german kindergarten book: how many words begin with "n"? by knutoleein funny

The cloud could be Nebel, which is fog, although it looks like a cloud which is Wolke.

The car makes no sense at all, 'cause that would be Auto.

Reddit, what is your favorite song that tells a story? by BeBenNovain AskReddit

[–]phelonius 0 points1 point ago

Frittenbude - Bilder mit Katze

The story itself is not too exciting, the usual boy meets girl, fall in love, split up and get back together, but the way it's told is really loving and impressive. The song is German, but some of you might like it anyway ;)

I'm 23, and I have to take the bus. I envy you a lot.

But seriously, that is one awesome truck.

Tip my friend left a waitress by davidmvdgin pics

[–]phelonius 6 points7 points ago

In Europe 10% is very high. We tip less but get highter hourly wages, so it results in the same thing. So when I went to the US I always felt like grossly overtipping, but was probably giving a really shitty tip.

Stratospheric skydive by enterstipin pics

[–]phelonius 4 points5 points ago

This isn't Joseph Kittinger, but Felix Baumgartner; he was trained by Kittinger though, and is in his team and will be in constant radio contact during the jumps.

Actual jump from balloon and full kit, but not from target height.

This was Felix Baumgartner in the Red Bull Stratos project; according to the Red Bull website about the flight:

After the capsule was lifted by a helium balloon to an altitude of 21,818 metres, Baumgartner started a freefall that lasted 3 minutes and 33 seconds before reaching the optimum height of 2,405m to deploy his parachute and float safely back to Earth

The target height is 32.000 metres, IIRC.

Sorry to hear, we do have quite a lot exchange students though, but I guess it's not so easy to get in :/

More like "Neuer Meister Blackwings heißt er, hey, hey!"

That means "new champion is called Blackwings, hey, hey"

They just won the hockey championship.

I have at some festivals, but they are only about as high as your belly button, so you have to awkwardly stare at a strange guy pissing who is also staring awkwardly. Very awkward.

Apple starts applying European warranty laws after 900,000€ fine. by ButlerGeorgein europe

[–]phelonius 1 point2 points ago

I bought my iPod in Britain (better exchange rate at the time) and asked the store rep, and he told me that it is no problem and that in case of a problem I should talk to Apple in my country. Bear in mind this was 3 years ago and in an HMV, but I think the rules have stayed the same.
