Need a new keyboard, what should I get? by pacboughin gamingpc

[–]pacbough[S] 0 points1 point ago*

Its much too late for that. The lycosa just happens to be my previous keyboard, and yes; it did have problems with the touchpad. Most annoying of them being how it presses one of the media keys which then launches windows media player after minimizing whatever was on the screen at the time.

You should be able to buy it now. I live in Australia and it is available on PC Case Gear.

Anyone know anything on the Coolermaaster LED Silent fans? More info inside. by pacboughin gamingpc

[–]pacbough[S] 0 points1 point ago

Maybe the sickleflow one is different, seems to have a different motor; but the only noise I hear from my fans which are the LED Silent ones is the air they move. Of course though, my old ones are noisy because they are old.

Why haven't I received the tf101 update yet? by black27696in asustransformer

[–]pacbough 0 points1 point ago

You should get it soon (within a few days). It depends what region your device is from or the Internet connection region. I just received mine last night, while others a several days before.

Unless you have a TF101G which is the 3g version, I'm not sure when an update will be out for it.

LED fan speed controlling causing the LEDs to flash. by pacboughin gamingpc

[–]pacbough[S] 0 points1 point ago

Its the one in the trooper case itself. The lights start to flash as soon as I put it one setting down from full speed.

When they are attached to the motherboard they can be very slow but the LEDs are still normal. Is the fan controller on the case using a different method to slow the fans? The stock fans on the case had a separate connector for the LEDs but the fans I replaced them with did not.

Chrome for Android expected to leave beta 'in a matter of weeks' by Shaznat10in Android

Also have a Transformer tablet, crashes every few tabs sometimes even on the first tab that I open it crashes on loading. I like everything else about it though apart from no flash. It scales nicely on tablet. The latest update actually made the crashing worse.

Best 120mm fans for WC radiators? by ruthless_apricotin gamingpc

[–]pacbough 1 point2 points ago

Found this on overclock.net http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/709/37005551.jpg

I converted the pressures from inches to milimetres.

2150 rpm GT is 2.87 mmH2O

1850 rpm GT is 2.06 mmH2O

1450 rpm GT is 1.39 mmH2O

Not the best pressures for the fan size, but considering the price and sound they are still very good fans.

Yes I think you have it, I set the bios to IDE and the Intel SSD Toolbox optimizer works and I checked the drive satus and it was in IDE channel.

The SSD Firmware updater worked too, but there was no new firmware available.

Installed those drivers from AMD, I think I had the same drivers installed anyway. When I installed Windows on my SSD it was always set to AHCI in the bios, but I did not created a "driver diskette", I was never asked for anything from windows.

Edit: Forgot to say that the problems are still the same.

[–]pacbough[S] 1 point2 points ago

I've heard that OCZ SSDs have a tendency to fail more often than other brands. I have and do buy parts from PC Case Gear but for 1 SSD that also costs more at PCG than MSY plus shipping as well is not worth it for me. I might get the Intel 520 series as it seems to have a positive reputation here.
