I just remember reading a few years ago that "space experts" feared that the know-how involved in getting people to the moon and back was disappearing - the people involved were ageing, and the knowledge was simply not there any more.

There's also the problem that designs changed so quickly there's no schematics for some of the Apollo era parts, so NASA's stuck reverse engineering their own stuff to figure out how the hell it worked.

Not really. The image posts were everywhere just like now, only people were using garbage image hosts, so the pictures would be down by the time they got popular, I think it was TinyPic that started flat out not showing pictures if it detected you got to them via Reddit.

Imgur's just a stable host, and since it was created by a Redditor essentially for Reddit, it's everywhere.

The image posts would exist either way, Imgur just allows you to actually see the pictures.

Black widows are one of the few that lives outside but has no problem living in a nice warm house if necessary. They like dark places full of bugs, so when they're outside they usually hang around woodpiles or sheds/garages.

I should clarify that that's not what I was doing, I was just pointing out that not all manual labor jobs are low paying, while most retail jobs are.

The simple reason is tobacco is a bitch to grow properly, so people are more than willing to let giant companies do the hard work for them.

Marijuana on the other hand is easy to grow on your own. The tobacco companies won't have a dominant hold on the market like they do with tobacco, so there's no incentive for them.
